At first it felt quite nice having a man care enough for me to want to always have me by his side. But when he now took it to another dimension of dictating where I could go even when it was in line of my official duty, I had to draw the line. I had to go to Abuja for a Board Meeting which fell on a Thursday; I decided to kill two birds with one stone, so I stayed back and used the Friday to sort out other official assignments. He became a bit nasty, saying that I was up to no good and went to the extent of sending me very insinuating texts. Of course by this time I had had it up to my throat with him. I was no longer interested and I was beginning to get a very creepy feeling about him. This is a man who professes love for God but entertains friends with young ladies of dubious character in his house; he was always working on the internet, never moving out of his house. I was beginning to suspect he was involved in Cybercrime (Yahoo), but I kept my suspicions to myself. The only time we went out together was if I invited him to a function; he never took me out even for a fast food meal. There were lots of exquisite restaurants that I wanted to explore in Lagos, but he never went with me.
