General Rules for Everyone to Follow
🍓 Follow the account for news and announcements.
🍓NO CHEATING. This includes bribing, bullying, or any other way of trying to get ahead unfairly. If you are found to be cheating, you will be wiped off this award so quickly it will seem like you never existed in it.
🍓Be polite. We believe in respecting our fellow writers and expect the same from our judges and participants.
🍓Add this book to your library and a public reading list for updates and promotion.
🍓Be patient and kind.
🍓PM us or comment with any doubts or questions you may encounter throughout the process.
Participant Rules
🍓 Only one book per participant since this is a small contest. If the spots don't fill up after a few days, we'll open it for participants to enter more books.
🍓Novels only have to have one chapter since this is a first chapter contest. Short stories are fine too as long as they fit into the category you are entering them in. In other words, they can have any number of chapters, but we will only be judging the first chapter for this contest.
🍓Mature and LGBTQ books are allowed. You don't have to let us know they contain either.
🍓If you change your book title or your username, contact us ASAP. If not, we will not search for you or your book. You will be disqualified.
🍓Please inform us if you delete your book. We had someone do this to us last time, and it caused a bit of confusion.
🍓Books must be in English. It's all we can read.
🍓Books must be your own work.
🍓After accepted, check that your book has been added to the proper reading list. We have made mistakes before.
