Six Months: Konig

Request: can you do something with Konig and reader where Konig has been deployed on a mission for nearly six months and he's finally coming home, so reader goes to base and greets right when he gets off the plane? 

A/N: I'm not sure how things are done where you are from but from where I'm from our soldiers returning from deployment are brought back to the base on a bus and reunited with their families that way.

Six months...it had been six months since you last saw your beautiful boyfriend Konig. He had been deployed on a mission somewhere that he couldn't tell you only that he would write to you once he arrived. True to his word he wrote you everyday and sent you stuff during his deployment with and you sent in stuff in return knowing he struggled with deployment since meeting you. Finally his captain called you and let you know that they were finally coming home, so you decided to surprise him at the base instead of him surprising you at home like he usually does when he returns home. 

So now you were at the base standing in the lot where the busses would be bringing the soldiers home. You stood there in his favorite dress of his, anxious to see him again wondering if he would be mad that you were here instead of at home. Finally the bus pulled up and you watched anxiously as the other soldiers filed off the bus, looking for your handsome man until finally your eyes landed on him. 

"Konig!" You said running over to where he was. 

"Liebchen, Ich habe dich so sehr vermisst, Schatz." He said picking up and holding you in his arms. 

"I missed you more King." You said lifting his hood enough to give him a kiss. 

"Liebchen, you aren't supposed to be here. I was supposed to head home stop by your favorite florist and grab you flowers and surprise you at home." Konig said holding you in his arms. 

"I know King, but I wanted to surprise you for a change. Plus I got you flowers waiting in the car." You said looking at him. 

"You got me flowers?" He asked you. 

"Yeah I did...I hope you aren't mad that I showed up here instead of waiting for you to get home."  You said playing with the hair on the back of his neck. 

"Never Liebchen, I'm so glad that I get to hold you again." He said squeezing you a little tighter.

"I'm glad you're home Konig." You said looking into his eyes.

 "Let's head home Liebchen, I want to spend the next week only holding and being with you." He said as he set you down on the ground. 

You laced your hand with his and you guys made your way through the crowd and towards your car. Once you guys got to the car, he loaded his bags in the back and once he climbed into the drivers side, you presented him with the flowers you had picked out.

"I wasn't sure what flowers you liked so I got you lilies because I know your mom likes them." You said nervously. 

"I love them, thank you Liebchen." He said leaning over and pressing a kiss to your lips. 

You smiled at him as he put the car in drive and started the drive home until you guys reached your favorite florist. You watched him put the car in park and hope out real quick and run inside, something about not breaking tradition. A few seconds later, he walks out with a bouquet of your flowers and climbs into the car, before handing them to you. 

"For you Liebchen, can't break tradition." He says making you smile as you held them. 

"Thank you baby." You said pressing a kiss to his lips. 

You guys headed home and once you reached home, Kong literally dropped his bag by the door before picking you up and carrying you to the couch. You giggle as he held you in his lap pulling off his mask letting you see his beautiful face. 

"Your still as beautiful as the day you left me." You said brushing your thumbs against his cheeks. 

"Not as beautiful as you Liebchen." He said pressing a kiss to your lips.
