"Why you didn't go to work you usually work on Wednesday" dougie asked maya over the phone while she silently cried

It had been a week since she found out and for a week she been crying about it. "I don't know" she wiped her face

"Why the fuck you crying?" Maya still hadn't told him she didnt know how to "I don't know" her soft voice was almost gone

Maya tried to ignore the fact she's pregnant . "Dougie get her" she heard Layla's voice

"Just put her down" maya listened to them argue. "You wanna just call me back?" She asked dougie

He didn't respond so maya hung up. Maya got up to you use the bathroom. She still hadn't looked at herself.

Once she was done she washed her hands looking at her stomach in the mirror. Then it dawned on her she need to tell her mom and sister

Maya turned the light off going to naya room to see if she was there. Naya wasn't even there maya went to get her phone

She FaceTime her sister "where you at naya?" Then she heard her moms loud voice

"With your mama we drinking mimosas" maya frown what if she wanted to drink mimosas "when are y'all coming back?"

"In a hour why?" Naya kinda figured something was wrong with maya "because I need to tell yall something but it can wait"

"Oh okay well I will text you when we on the way" maya hung up sighing.

"I wanna show yall something" maya told her mom and naya they finally came back from day drinking "what is it?" Her mom looked up from her phone

Naya took her eyes off the t.v. . Maya went to her camera roll to the hidden she was scared "okay look" she held her phone out showing them her ultrasound video

"You're pregnant?" Her mom asked shocked "yeah" maya felt the tears coming she didn't know why she was still crying

"Aren't you on birth control?" Naya asked "yeah but the obgyn was like I was too early for the test to know before I got the bc" Kim was still staring at maya

"Are you serious?" She asked her again "yes mama don't make me feel even worst about it then I already do" maya felt bad because once she sat and thought about she didn't know she could've killed it by drinking.

"Im not trying to just wanted to know if your serious" maya looked at naya and she was crying

"Why are you crying?" Maya asked her feeling bad "because your having a baby that means you have to move out" naya and maya had been living with each other since the womb so separating permanently was something neither wanted to do

"No im not I don't even know if I want the baby" maya hugged her Kim didn't understand why they still livid together she never understood the twin bond so she never said anything.

"Why you don't want it?" Kim asked maya "because I'm not with it's dad he doesn't want a baby and I don't want to keep it thinking Im different or going to change his mind" maya left out the part of him being addicted to percs , his toxicity on top of already having a newborn because that was between them

"Okay"kim had a lot more to say but she decided not to. Maya didn't know how she was going to tell dougie she knew he wouldn't want it he didn't want the baby he had

She didn't even know if he would believe her they hadn't had sex in so long.  "You gone tell him or what ? Cause by the sound of him I don't like him" her mom she knew it was bad to judge

"Yeah I am sometime in the next few days " naya gave her phone back

"Just let me know whatever you gonna do maya so I can be there for whatever you decide" she wiped her face feeling a tear slip

"That explains why you gotten so thick" naya touch her ass "stop creep" maya laughed

"Yall don't know how good it feels to tell someone I been crying and crying since I found out" she expressed

"Dont be doing all that crying so much it's going to affect the baby " maya took a mental note

Naya wanted to ask if she wanted a boy or girl but maya didn't even know if she wanted it.

"How far along are you ?" Her mom could see she gained weight "Um thirteen weeks" maya looked at her phone seeing dougie texted her he was on the way

"Let me see your stomach" maya shook her head no "why?" Naya asked wanting to see

"Because I still haven't accepted im pregnant ... mama you finna meet dougie be nice" maya told her before hand

Maya went to straighten up her room picking up everything and throwing water bottles away.

She put her ultrasound in her draw cause dougie never went through he stuff unless it was her phone.

Maya opened the door for dougie . She could tell he was high just by looking at him . 

She closed the door behind him "come on" she mumbled they went to her room "I missed you" he pulled maya into him

She hugged him back knowing she needed a hug . She wanted to tell him but she knew he always forget things when he high

He let maya go getting in her bed in her spot "go take a shower and get out my bed"

She heard dougie smack his lips "bro leave me alone I been inside all day"she watched him kick his shoes off and take his hoodie off "come on so I can sleep" he told her

He sat his percs on her nightstand "don't touch my shit" maya rolled her eyes getting in the bed with

"I dont want that shit" maya scrunched her face offended. "Get off me" she moved dougie head off her stomach scared it was going to hurt the baby

"Bro" he got back comfortable. Maya sighted knowing he wasn't going to move .

Maya realized if she kept the baby she was going to have to deal with dougie ,his drugs addiction and the way acts on top of a baby.

"How can you even see the t.v when your head is in my shirt?" She pulled the shirt up

"I can see bro you start to be aggy" he pulled the shirt back down "then you can get off me"

Maya watched twilight while dougie fell asleep snoring loud . Maya was used to it

Maya knew he wouldn't be able to sleep like this any longer if she kept the baby. Maya Sat thinking about the whole situation .

She didn't want to get treated like Layla if she keeps the baby. She knew it was a lot of cons to keeping the baby. And didn't want to deal with any of them.
