(Zoey-I MEAN Bella's POV)

As I walked into Rosemeadow high, my nose instantly hit the smell of fresh flowers. Elliot, the flower boy, was there, tending the flowers with love and care. I remembered freshman year, as I was bullying him. I had stomped on his glasses, laughed, cruelty dripping down my voice.

"Do you need anything?" Elliot called out to me.

I quickly turned back. "No, but thank you," I said, realizing I had stared for way to long.

Elliot paused for a second. It looked like his eyes glinted with knowing, as if he knew. My heart started beating faster. What if he knew who I was?

Then, he went back to tending his garden.

With a sigh of relief, I headed into the school

I touched one of the pale, yellow lockers that was mine. It felt cold, smooth to the touch. Shaking, I opened it. Memories burst through me, as I remembered hanging out with Lia by the lockers, smoothing on another layer of lip gloss, chatting like everything was back to normal.

Shoot, I have class...

As I closed my locker, I ran into a short, pink-headed fury.

Dang it, dang it, dang it...

MILLY'S LOCKER WAS RIGHT NEXT TO MINE

She looked at me, observing me, as if something was wrong.

No...nothing was wrong.

While she looked at me, I noticed that she had grew her hair longer, just like in middle school. It was tied up in a sporty ponytail that trailed down her back like a pink waterfall. She looked joyous, happy, fufilled. Which is what you get when a jealous blonde doesn't bully you.

A bead of cold sweat coursed down my cheek when she kept staring.

"What-chu looking at?" I said, trying to play it off cool.

"Nothing, I just thought you looked familiar..." Milly said nonchalantly. She disrupted her gaze.

DANG IT. How did she know?

Well, maybe because of the eyes? Or the voice???

I mean, my hair didn't change, save for the brown coloring...

Stop being paranoid, Zoey. You're supposed to make up for your past mistakes.

NOTE: In this AU, Milly is the same age as the other TMF members.

"I-I'm Bella. Nice to meet you." I said, smiling. "Who do I remind you of?"

"It's Milly." Milly grinned, showing all of her teeth, "You seem nice. Oh, don't worry about the last part. I just thought you looked like one of my past bullies..."

Deciding not to question more, I smiled at her, knowing fully well that her instincts were completely right. "It's all right. Well, we better head to class! I'll see you around!" I waved a goodbye to Milly, and left.

I took out a book and pretended to read it on my way to class. However, my mind was racing with worried thoughts.

Zoey, you'll have to tell them later.

Try to make up for it, will ya? Don't ruin it all because of jealousy...

My mind raced with past fears, and future ones as well. Doubts crowded my mind. I couldn't breathe. I couldn't. What was wrong with me?

Out of nowhere, tears came. They blurred and filled my eyes. I ducked my head, to avoid anybody from seeing my mental breakdown. But it was all right. If I were Zoey, nobody would care. In fact, they would be elated.

Maybe it's would be better if I just disappear...

Quit being emotional, Bella. You'll be late.

And I was off.
