Echoes of Sorrow
She curled up on the matresss due to the cold, He immediately rushed to shut the windows and door.
He covered her petite body in warm comforter. He sat beside her, It was long, tough and tiring day for her.
He slowly moved the comforter up from her feet and scanned her wounds,
He caressed her feet, a single tear fell down his cheek.

His heart broke into million pieces when he saw her with chhoti, her eyes were bloodshot rimmed with darkcircles, the signs of sleep deprivation, prolonged fatigue and tiredness leaving its imprints on her face.
She fought against the wave of drowsiness that threatened to engulf in a darkness, eyelids fluttering to stay awake.
And she fainted,
Ghar leke chaliye.... She said, each word whispered with a quite exhaustion.

He came with luke warm water and soft towel and cleaned her feet gently not wanting hurt her more, and applied some Lotion.

He was taken back when he saw her walking to their room, she walked so limply, her shoulders sagged, bearing weight of heartbreak, pain, physical and emotional tiredness.
She leaned against the bedrest, her eyelids dropped, heavy with weariness,
She was already asleep when he entered the room.

He again sat beside her,
Anu.... Im sorry....but I promise Anu, mein sab theek kardunga.... I am really very sorry.... His fingers gently caressed her forehead.
Sab theek ho jayega.... Sab.. theek kardunga... Mein... I love you Anu.... I'm. Sorry..... He laid on the bed and engulfed her in his arms.
