'Shit!'
Anne cried as she falled down for the thirteenth time due to these massive tree roots .How did she came here in this scary ass jungle in the middle of nowhere ?Long story.
She stood up and cleaned away the the dust on her elbows and ankles,
"What am I supposed to do now?"
She said to herself, it would just be a waste of time to stand there and think . she decided to just walk and not waste her time thinking which she always ends up doing.
"I should've bought that jam with me"
All she had was two slices of bread in her coat pocket ,Walking a little further she found a beautiful glowing lake with huge fishes swimming at the surface of the water, It really was a sight to be seen .
"Well ,a little rest wouldn't hurt anybody" She made her way to the lake and sat down in a patch of velvety grass ,even the grass here is so large and soft. It felt like she was sitting in a spread of cotton just how they show in baby diapers commercials,the view in front of her was serene,simple yet breathtaking .
"If only professor was here with me it wouldn't be so hard to find the artifacts, but no! all he cares about is his musty ass breakfast.Who even does that ?"
Her stomach was now rumbling with hunger ,if only she had agreed to have breakfast with him when he gave her the offer to share his breakfast with her which he never does ,that man has weird obsession with his breakfast.but she refused the offer cause she is a dumbass and told her professor 'work before food 'and gave him a 17 minutes long lecture on why we should complete our work before doing anything else,and now she is so much hungry that she can't think about anything else but food.
Suddenly a fish leapt through the water and fell in front of her.The fish was not even struggling to get back to water,It just layed there still as a corpse.An image of fish sandwich flashed through her mind.
"Well this must be a sign from the universe ,the universe is helping me"
She started to find some rocks with which she can start a fire and roast the fish .There in the banks of the other side of the lake she found two perfectly oval rocks ,the rocks layed in the ground gracefully like they were waiting for her to pick them up .
She took the rocks and went to her previous place .but there was one problem ,she didn't know how to start a fire with rocks,maybe she should've listened to her girls scout captain when she was yelling her voice out during the 'how to survive in the wild 'lesson.
She hit the rocks together but nothing happened. once more, still nothing happened. she aggressively started hitting the rocks and atlast......the rocks broke and crumbled into chunks of powder.
"🤦♀️"
"Guess I'll have to sleep hungry tonight "
She lied down to begin her frustration sleep but suddenly a bright light emerged from the two powdered rocks which enveloped her closed eyes in white light. She opened her eyes and found a heavenly looking man and woman standing infront of her, They looked like a supermodel couple.As she was admiring their beauty ,the woman said something in a language which she couldn't understand and suddenly the fish which she had intended to eat earlier turned into another woman and joined the couple , and now the three of them were standing in front of her .
Yeah today is a day full of surprises
"Damn,I feel ugly "
"Child ", the first woman spoke.
The woman is speaking to me ,shit!!
How am I supposed to react ? I've never conversed with such beautiful people .ugggghhhh Iam making a fool of myself ! I should say something quick
" Hi ,my name is Anne and I like bread with jam " Okay why did I said what I said, now they probably think Iam weird .
The three heavenly looking people smiled , "Thank you freeing us" they said in unison.
"Umm your welcome ,I guess "
"Child,you probably may be thinking what just happened now " the man spoke .
well duh,It's not always that you get rocks and fishes turning into people. Well but it was not so much suprising as her professor already prepared her for incidents like this .
"Yes ,please explain " she said
"We were cursed to become rocks and a fish by Maharishi durvasa "the second woman said .
'Well that would be the last person you would like to get cursed from'. Anne thought to herself .
"But why ?" Anne asked .

And you guys may be wondering what is happening here but don't worry ,be patient ,the upcoming chapters will unfold everything .and yeah this story follows the original plot of Mahabharata but some incidents and people will be from my imagination.
And it's also gonna have some pinch of science fiction here and there .
