After you were discharged from the hospital you moved in with your sister. Tachihara wasn't gonna lie, he wasn't thrilled about it, While you told him you werent mad at him anymore for what happened he felt as though you were punishing him.
Today he had the day off so he was just at home when the doorbell rang. When he opened the door he saw you standing there.
"You don't have to ring the bell you know" he says
"I don't live here so technically I do" you say as he let you in.
"How long is this gonna be going on for?" Tachihara asked
"what?" you asked
"Y/n you're this whole new person, I get it that you had a rough episode with your depression and shit got dark for you, And Im glad that you got help, but since you got discharged you're acting in a way that isn't you, Even on a good day you are never this energetic"
"Well today is a really good day, Those anti depression pills work wonders" You told him.
"As for the living arrangements My sister is moving to Sendai to live with her boyfriend and Im going with her so we'll have to do long distance" You added
"No Y/n. I dont know what the hell happened to you in that hospital but you rarely spoke with your sister, and now suddenly you're moving across the country with her?"
"Im 19 years old last I checked I'm an adult and i can do what I want"
"Yea I know that. But in a relationship if a decision is being made you usually discuss it with the other person before settling in a final decision on something which will have an effect on the relationship. So far you have just been making all the decisions for me and not once have you ask what I thought of it or how I feel."
Tachihara was on thin ice and one more thing between the both of you would be his breaking point.
"Well how do you feel about this?" you asked
"I hate it. I hate not having you here, I hate not being able to talk to you about my day after work, I hate not going to bed with you and waking up to you. I hate not being able to spoil you with breakfast in bed on the weekends. God y/n you haven't even slept over once! You just expect me to be okay with all this and Im not. Our relationship is going backwards."
When you heard Tachiharas explanation you realised that you really had been making all these decisions and just expecting him to go along and be fine with it.
Not just that but he was also right in you pretending to be okay and he was right on you hardly ever talking to your sister before all this...
She never liked Tachihara and it made you realise that she used you being unwell to manipulate you into slowly leaving him.
"Michizo...im so sorry..." You teared
"I know you are." he says
He walked over and wiped your tears away.
"Im not saying this to guilt you into staying , but if you are going to Australia with your sister our relationship can't continue...I love you y/n, I do but I wont continue to wait around for you" he says
"No...no I want to stay...I don't want to leave you" You say
"Do you really mean that or are you just saying that because its what you think its what i want to hear. I don't mind you moving to Australia, but Im not sticking around, We can be friends but nothing more"
"No Michi Im being serious I want to stay, I want to come home to you! You're right about it all, my sister used me being unwell to manipulate me to leave you, you know she hates you"
Tachihara sighed and you took that as a bad thing and started crying.
"Michizo please, Im sorry Ill be a better girlfriend, I promise"
"y/n stop."
You did but the tears still kept coming
"I know you are sorry. And If you are sorry then you need to really show that you mean what you say. Lets start from scratch okay, Ill help you get your own place and we will start from there okay." He says.
After that you both started your relationship on a fresh path. You found a small apartment down the road from Tachihara and you stayed over every Friday night sometimes saturdays too.
Date night were one day at random every 2 weeks and you both worked on communicating with each other.
Your depression started to get better and slowly you started coming off the medication. You still got days where you would have your lows, but you made sure to always let Tachihara know and he would make time to come over and cheer you up, even if it was just to cuddle.
