"What is this?"

"Today's special."

"I asked for an iced americano."

"I need someone to try this though. I made this recipe with my blood, sweat and tears and no one's ordered it though when I worked my ass off to come up with something for this month's drink."

"What do I have to do with this?"

As Jimin is about to retort with something, a sudden appearance makes his way and wraps an arm around Yoongi.

Caught off guard, Yoongi grunts, until he realises who it is.

"Ah, Hoseok-ah, what are you doing here?"

"Me? Look at you! Visiting Jimin at work! Is this perhaps...progress?" He suggests.

Well, yes and no.

Ever since Jimin and Yoongi had a little arcade... date  (Yoongi doesn't think that's the proper term for it, but whatever), there's been a new foundation to their relationship.

They weren't exactly friends, but weren't quite hating each other either. Well, at least in Yoongi's part. He sometimes wonders if Jimin would take the opportunity to punch the other if he could, but he'll take his chances.

That doesn't mean they stopped bickering though. Oh no, of course not. Their bickering game was even stronger  than before. The only difference was, there was a playful edge to it; it was almost a game for the both of them.

Whoever has the last word, wins. Whoever says the best reply, defeats the other.

Yoongi would lie if he said he didn't think it was almost...fun. If he said he didn't think it was the highlight of his day sometimes.

He hopes the smile that unwillingly cracks up on his face isn't too telling, he can't let the blonde's ego get any bigger than it already is.

After all, Park Jimin is still very much annoying, and no, Yoongi has not grown fond of him in any sorts. He just doesn't think his presence is a crime anymore, simple as that.

"No, I just want coffee. Couldn't care less about who it is providing me with it,"

"Wow, okay," Jimin voices, and that immediately causes both Hoseok and Yoongi to turn heads.

"So Hoseok hyung!" Jimin restarts, all eyes still fixated on him, "Would you like a free special drink, made especially by me?"

"Ooh, of course!" He exclaims, detaching himself off of Yoongi as his focus was now on the barista.

"Wait, free? Why didn't I get that offer?"

"You did get an offer."

"If I recall correctly, you didn't mention anything being free,"

"Why would I give you anything free?"

"Why would you give Hobi anything free then?"

The one across the counter looks away from the register for a few seconds, to face Yoongi, "Well, Hoseok hyung is my friend."

"Well—"

Well, what?

What was Yoongi even going to say? That him and Jimin are also friends?

Him and Jimin are far  from friends.

And Yoongi is perfectly okay with that.

He keeps telling himself that as he watches as Jimin disappears into the back of the cafe, only to return several minutes later with a cup for Hoseok.
