chapter 11: Testing

3 days remaining until the entrance exam starts, due to the fact we the UA is an elite school. The whole registration process was very stressing to some. Izumi was one of the lucky ones in that stressful situation and ended up calling someone for help. She was currently sitting in the sofa while on the phone with Toshinori since UA registrations were a bit difficult to navigate overall. It appeared that both of them do not seem to understand it very well....

"I just wish that UA didn't update the whole registration, when I did this is was much easier to understand, maybe since I had a teacher there to help me"

Toshinori nervously chuckled

"Great.... I just write that my quirk developed late, and that quirk is just strength then?"

Izumi questioned Toshinori

"Uh Yes, sometimes quirks develop in odd ways, which gives you an opportunity to update that"

Toshinori said

"Oh okay and what do I write about ofa though like; is it super strength or Speed or both?"

Izumi questioned

"I would write... Both but I'm not too positive about the speed part, but do write that down just in case."

Toshinori said

"Okay, then what?"

Izumi said

"Now you need to do-"

"Izumi I'm back"

Inko announced

"Eek!"

Toshinori was heard talking but Izumi ended the call from pure panic. The realization hit her after the call ended.

On the other side of the phone Toshinori was rather confused with the call suddenly ending. He did hear Midoriya's mom right before the phone hung up and did originally want to call her back.

'Oops I didn't mean to end the call like that but at least my mom wouldn't know about Toshinori.... I'll call him later'

Izumi said to herself and then sighed from relief as she got up from the sofa. Inko walked into the kitchen with bags in hand, since the kitchen and living room are connected. Izumi was quick to help her mom out with the groceries.

"How are you doing with the registration, dear?"

Inko said

"It's going.... Great"

Izumi somewhat hesitated saying that but she didn't want her mother to worry about it. Luckily her mother just simply smiled and said;

"I'm just so proud of you Izumi... I'm glad that your quirk finally developed"

Inko said in awe

"Aww mom..."

Izumi hugged her mom tightly as she remembered when she was told by a doctor that she would never get a quirk. Being a 4 year old girl with the dream of becoming a hero once your get your quirk was a big thing. It's was crushing since everyone around Izumi had a quirk but her. For that point forward it was a horrible path for Izumi. All the shit she got all because all because she was quirkless which meant that society can mistreated her. Bring her down, continue to beat her down by friends...well if they're even called her friends. That all changed because of the one person she looked up to... All Might change all of that.

"I'll do anything to make you proud of me"

Izumi said

"But seeing you always makes me proud of you Izumi"
