Long before the cities and civilizations of Arvandor emerged, the land was a canvas of raw elemental forces. It was a place where earth, water, fire, and air mingled in a harmonious dance, untouched by mortal hands.
The story began with the birth of the Primordials, ancient beings of immense power and elemental essence. Each Primordial embodied one of the fundamental forces of the world. Thal'zor, the Earthshaper, sculpted mountains and valleys with his colossal hands. Seraphina, the Flamebearer, breathed life into the first flickering flames. Nai'ara, the Tidemistress, guided the ebb and flow of oceans and rivers. And Zephyrus, the Windweaver, painted the skies with winds and storms.
For eons, these Primordials reveled in their creative dance, shaping the land and sky with boundless artistry. Yet, as time passed, a longing grew within them. They yearned for the emergence of sentient beings who could appreciate the beauty of their work, creatures capable of love, wisdom, and creation.
In response to their desires, the Celestial Council came into being, a gathering of divine entities who oversaw the destinies of mortal realms. Among them was Solarias, the Sun God, who brought warmth and light to the world. Lumina, the Moon Goddess, bestowed dreams and visions upon those who gazed at her radiant face. And Erebus, the Lord of Shadows, watched over the mysteries and secrets of the night.
The Celestial Council recognized the potential of Arvandor, the raw canvas where the Primordials played. They approached the ancient beings with a proposal: the creation of mortal life, beings who would honor the elemental forces and the celestial guardians.
The Primordials, fascinated by the prospect, agreed. Thus, they combined their powers, forging the first mortals from the very elements of the land. These beings, known as the "Firstborn," emerged as stewards of the world, bearing the essence of earth, water, fire, and air within them.
The Celestial Council bestowed upon the Firstborn the gifts of magic and free will, hoping they would cultivate wisdom and creativity. And so, the mortal races of Arvandor began to flourish, building cities, crafting art, and forging bonds with the elemental forces that surrounded them.
As the Firstborn prospered, the Celestial Council and the Primordials watched with pride and wonder. They saw the beauty of mortals' creations, the love and unity that flourished, and the stories and legends that filled the land.
