[Takes place a week after Subspace's supposed death.]

Slingshot and Shuriken sat in the park. Saddened by what had happened.

"Why did it have to be him." Slingshot said, feeling a bit guilty, like he could've saved Subspace.

"If I were just-" He was cut off by Shuriken.

"Hey hey- it isn't your fault, none of us knew he would be there. None of us knew the thing would be there." Shuriken looked at him, trying to calm him down.

"I know, I just feel like I could've saved him. Maybe if I just didn't take that walk everything would be okay." Slingshot said, trying not to cry.

"It would've happened no matter what, don't blame yourself, alright?" Shuriken said.

"You know what? Wanna get ice cream again?" Shuriken asked, smiling.

Slingshot looked at him.

"I mean, sure I guess?" Slingshot replied.

"WOOOOO C'MON !!!!" Shuriken said, getting up from his seat and running to where the ice cream stand was.

"WAIT FOR ME-" Slingshot said, getting up and running after him.
