As we continue making our way back towards Iron Blood, the girls at the rear of our formation suddenly cry out that we're under attack. Looking behind us, I'm surprised to find the very night sky abuzz with the thundering of hundreds of engines as seemingly the entirety of the Royal Navy airforce descends upon us. With them are aircraft that are only operated from carriers indicating the girls themselves are also giving chase.
Bismarck: Flank speed!
Everyone picks up speed but it isn't long before the aircraft are overhead and as our own aircraft lifts off to combat them, I suddenly feel a wave of dizziness wash over me.
Stumbling, I'm caught by Roon who looks at me before handing me off to Z23, telling her to keep me safe as she falls back to help our rear guard fend off the enemy. The minute she's gone, however, the aircraft commence their attack.
The sky lights afire with the bright light off thousands of tracer rounds ripping through the clouds as all ships open fire at the incoming wave. Torpedoes and bombs hit the water as girls attempt to dodge while covering for each other. The submarines all dive, moving to the rear to assist in our defence but it all happens too fast for me to process.
I hear Z23 scream as she rushes toward me, hands outstretched as her AA guns fire at something over my head. I look up, wondering what's wrong only to see a bomb inches away from my face. It passes by, its edge grazing my lip as it passes before exploding in my chest and sending me flying backwards.
Pain rips through every fibre of my being. I try getting up but my body refuses to listen, already sinking beneath the waves. Z23 reaches my side but not before Bismarck who tries to help me but gets driven back by a second assault that sees my slowly sinking body struck by three torpedoes and another bomb.
My guns have already fallen silent and as I watch the other girls trying to help me, I can only thank them for all they'd done for me. They beg me not to talk like this but I already know what is to be my fate. It'd be pointless for them to also sink because they don't want to leave me behind. I make this known to Bismarck who despite her hesitations eventually sees reason and orders the general retreat.
As she stands, she and the nearby girls all give me a gun salute, stating that they'll never forget me before leaving. I watch their backs vanish over the horizon as my own eyes finally dip under the water.
I'm sinking. I never thought I'd be feeling this feeling again, especially not this soon. There's still so much I wish to do. Am I really going to die again?

Me: Who's there?
My vision goes black before the sound of rushing water fills my ears.
BOOM!

An explosive force propels me from the depths and up into the sky. For a brief moment, I am weightless before plummeting back towards the waves.

Me: Wha-
Staring at my own reflection in disbelief, I can't help the Deja Vu that hits me. I've been here before...what the hell is going on?
Me: HAHA! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

I smile as I stand with weapons at the ready as Observer Alpha unveils herself, appearing before me.
Alpha: Awe...did I finally break you?
I glare at her but she merely laughs, using her tentacles to pull me closer. I try resisting but my body won't listen.
Alpha: Now, now. You'll play along, won't you?
She tilts my face upwards until I'm looking straight into her eyes, her own lips hovering inches away from mine. I can feel her breath coating my lips. I-
UGGHHH!!!
I cough up blood. Looking down, I'm surprised to find her hand plunged through my chest.
Alpha: If you hate living so much, I'll grant your request.
I watch as she rips something that's glowing out of my chest before tossing my body aside.
Alpha: I finally have what I've been looking for. I'll soon be able to find you with this...
My body dips beneath the waves once more.
