After yesterday of amazing sex with Nasir then me running to the bathroom, I was drained mentally. I stayed in the bathroom for hours before I tipped toed out to the living room where I slept. When I woke up this morning it was pretty quiet between Nasir and I. I can tell he was walking egg shells around me. He asked earlier if I was up for dinner tonight, I told him yes. Even though I wasn't really in the mood to be around him really, he was trying.

Nas had a special candle light dinner set up for us. It was pretty quiet at the table, awkward as hell.
"I appreciate the dinner Nasir." I said sparking up a conversation.
"Anything for you Magic." He responded
"So when we get back, what will you be doing? Got any shows coming up?" I asked
"Yea I got some shit lined up. I know we not on the best of terms right now but I was wondering if you could be there for an event that's honoring me with an award?" He asked with hope in his eyes
"... When is it?" I responded
"It's a month from now. You know you ain't got to worry about finding something to wear. I'll handle all of that baby." He said
" Umm... I guess I can do that." I said
"Thank you Magic really." He said sincerely. I just did a tight smile as a response.
"Do you love me Nasir? Like really love me?" I asked after a little while of silence.
"Yes Magic I really do love you. I know you may not believe me but I'm gonna show you I do." He said
"I love the way you smile, I love how when your really concentrating your face frowns. I love how selfless you are, baby I can go on for hours about why I love you." He continued
I've gotten so comfortable with Nasir in only 7 months of knowing him. I love him, I adore him, I care about his well being. I wanna make our relationship work, I don't think I can walk away from him at this moment.
"Nasir this can only work if we BOTH want it too. I'm willing to put in the work to get us back where we were, I just need you to do the same. No more lying. We're not even a year into this relationship and you cheated. Honestly I regret having sex with you so early on and last night. I feel it might've gave you the wrong impression. I'm not a doormat, you can't treat me how you want and still expect me to be there because I won't.
"I wanna trust you again, I wanna be able to feel comfortable with you again. I don't feel that right now. I wanna be able to look at you and not wanna punch you in the face. It makes me nauseous when I think about you being intimate with another woman while being with me. I just wanna be happy and at peace like I was months ago. If you can't give me that please leave me alone. Understood?" I said
"Like I said throughout this trip, I will do anything to have our relationship the way it was before I made that dumbass decision. I'm sorry for hurting you baby. I'm gonna put that smile back on your face no doubt about that. I took it off so I'm responsible for putting it back on. If you wanna check my phone everyday you can do that, if that's how I can gain you trust back." He said
"I don't wanna be going through your shit. I just need for you to understand me and for your actions to match your words." I said
"They will baby, I promise. Understood." He replied
I stared at him for a moment before getting out my seat walking over to him and took a seat on his lap.
"I love you." I said caressing his head.
"I love you too." He said. I leaned down and kissed him
I'm sure the world may think I'm letting him off easy. I don't think I am, he's got a long way to go before he'll get the same me back. I just know I love him and he's made me the happiest I've been in the last few months. I'm not giving up on us.
