Eclipse's backstory

As Eclipse awoke, a subtle but unsettling difference in his life became apparent. Absent were the troubles that had plagued him before, yet in their place, a pervasive sense of loneliness seemed to linger. He glanced at the weather report, revealing the familiar heat of another typical day. The calendar displayed no special occasions, just the impending driver's test, devoid of birthdays or holidays.

Descending the stairs to find his parents, he discovered that they were both at home on this weekend. A notification on his phone interrupted his thoughts, an invitation to a party slated for 8:00 pm to 3:00 am, with the added request to bring snacks. Eclipse inquired with his parents, receiving their permission to attend, though his mother cautioned him to be cautious.

Eclipse embarked on a snack-gathering mission, ensuring he returned in time for lunch. His mother had prepared sandwiches, and as they sat down to eat, they engaged in a conversation about recent events and life in general. Time marched on, and eventually, it was time to head to the party.

He opted for an Uber to transport him to his friend's house, arriving just as others were beginning to trickle in. The party was just getting started. Eclipse noticed a selection of drinks on the counter, and his curiosity led him to inquire about them with Mackenzie. Receiving an affirmative response, Eclipse hesitated briefly, recalling past struggles with drinking. However, he made the unfortunate decision to partake.

Initially, he felt fine, but as time passed, the effects of the alcohol began to take hold. His actions became increasingly erratic, punctuated by random questions and outlandish statements, such as controllable laughter Eventually, he succumbed to the inebriation, collapsing onto the couch and slipping into a deep slumber.

Upon awakening, Eclipse found himself stirred by judo, who expressed concern about his condition. To his dismay, he discovered that Coco had used him as a canvas for a Sharpie masterpiece while he was unconscious. Eclipse decided to call his mother, seeking her permission to stay over. With the green light granted, he settled in for a night of restless sleep, contemplating the choices that had led to this unpredictable evening.
