Headcannonz

- Whenever Noodle hears/sees a helicopter or plane, she gets pretty upset. She hides behind either 2-D or Russel and they have to comfort her and tell her she's okay for her to fully calm down. (PTSD from El Manana and the ship she was on)

- 2-D has pretty bad nightmares and they are super realistic which makes them worse. He wakes up screaming and since Noodle's room is directly next to his, she's usually the one to calm him down

- One year, they had a concert on Murdoc's birthday, so they played 'Deceptacon' by LeTigre, knowing it was his favorite song at the time and he was so happy (If you don't know what I'm referencing, watch the Pandora commercial for "Sounds like Gorillaz" and you'll get it)

- I know a lot of people have already talked about this hc, but idc. The band plays Mario Kart together a lot. 2D is Luigi, Russel is Bowser, Noodle is cat Peach, and Murdoc makes the most butt-fuck ugly Mii ever. He thinks it's funny, which it is-

- In phase 5, when 2D would get sad, mostly at night, he would listen to TV Girl and The Smiths to match the vibe since he didn't really have the mental energy to try and make himself feel better

- 2D's always really afraid to cry in front of anyone, but sometimes, in more recent phases, he would allow himself to cry in front of Noodle

- 2D also listens to D4vd because that man is SAD

- 2D has ADHD (2D autism headcannoners, fight me, I dare you) I feel he's this way 'cause, as a person who is 'tistic themselves, 2D doesn't really show any relative symptoms of autism, and really seems more unable to focus and hyperactive

- On the topic of mental illness, imo 2D has gotten over his Stockholm Syndrome (that's cannon btw), but still deals with anxiety and panic attacks. Noodle has survivor's guilt, and acute OCD that sprouted from it, Murdoc has Tourettes (also cannon) and severe childhood trauma, Russel also has trauma and some anxiety about losing his band members, but he goes to therapy

- Noodle, Russel, and 2D learned a couple Blur songs just to spite Murdoc

- 2D has two hitchhiker thumbs. I have no clue as to why I though of that.

- When Murdoc does laundry, he never cleans out the lint trap in the dryer just to annoy whoever uses it next

- In the days following the music video for Silent Running (1 year since it was put out????) 2D was really shaken up and kind of went back into his cold, shell-like state that he used to be like after Plastic Beach (Near-death experiences and all)

- 2D has pretty bad tremors. Mostly in his hands and legs. His knees are like constantly shaky and he can't really keep his hands steady enought to even write lyrics with a pen and paper, so he typically writes on his computer

- 2D still doesn't know how to tie his shoes

- Despite how a lot of fics present her, 2D's mother was actually very responsible with his medication. Guys, she's a fucking nurse and every reliable source says she was incredibly nice. I think 2D got addicted on his own account.

- 2D still can't listen to any songs off Plastic Beach. But, on good days, he'll listen to Cloud of Unknowing because when Bobby Womack was on Plastic Beach to record the song, and Stylo, he tried to help 2D escape, but Murdoc caught 2D. He still appreciates Bobby for that (Rest in peace Bobby Womack, can't believe it's been almost ten years, your memory lives on in our hearts)

- Noodle had a Vine account back when it was still alive (RIP Vine) And She's the only reason the rest of the band knows about it. And they all quote Vines like every day, mostly 2D and Noodle

- 2D used to go to Sephora/Ulta to find a foundation/concealer so he could cover the bruises Murdoc gave him. People would stare at him, but he didnt care. (Damn, that one is sad asf)

- Noodle has Lady Macbeth syndrome - a psychological condition in which people who have done something wrong or feel guilty about a traumatic event, even if it wasn't their fault, feel a need to clean their hands, body, or living space in order to clear their conscience.

- Noodle also loves drag queens and RuPaul's Drag Race. She also watches Trixie Mattel and Katya Zamolodchikova's show "UNHhhh" (Yes, that is what its called)

- Murdoc had undiagnosed Schizophrenia for most of his life from trauma but only recently got treatment for it

- Noodle still has a 23 tattooed on her wrist from when she was still training to be a soilder but covers it up with that really good coverage foundation they use on movie sets when they do music videos
