"Oi you, get up." A maid threw a bag of supplies to the imprisoned boy, all items stale and rotten.

"Leave this place fast and quiet, the master doesn't want to see a face of a monster like yourself." And with that she left, leaving the door open to see himself out.

The blankets shuffled to reveal a dirty child, pointy ears presenting his elven bloodline. Paying no mind to what the maid gave, he went to a plank and broke it open to reveal more fresher rations. Enough for him to get started.

As the misfit left the house quietly, he didn't look back to gaze the lime green orbs of someone that cared.

"We're here."

Jasmine announced as we walked in the large guild house, soon greeted by bustling crowds of adventurers of many ranks. Instincvely, I reached to my sister only to be met with cold air and the reality of her not being my side, something Jasmine took notice of.

"...Art, you okay?"

"I guess I'm not used to Alden not being on my side."

"I see."

To break the tense silence, Sylvie popped out of my bag, a safety measures incasea situation like Sebastian's happened again. Jasmine also must've taken notice of Sylvie's lack of wings.

"Did Caecius taught her to shapeshift?"

"Yeah, he basically stole her for five days just to train in this."

I sweatdropped, remembering the time I panicked when I couldn't find Sylvie for hours. Alden soon told me that Caecius took her to someplace to train, which I deduced took her purposely a while just to tease me. When both came back, I threw Caecius to a wall (which did not affect him one bit) and made him swear to ask permission from me and me directly. Bright side after all of that incident, Sylvie learned some new skills and changing forms like Caecius.

We  soon joined a line in one of the guild's reception, a bit of a long one but we managed to be early for the day so it wasn't too long. I opened my mouth to speak, but Jasmine stopped and placed a paper on the desk.

"I'd like to sponsor him for a rank examination."

The reception lady looked surprised a bit confused at first but nodded, opening the reception to let us through. We walked to a series of hallways till we ended up on a rather large door, opening it revealed a bespectacled man in the ages of twenty to thirty.
