Tom had decided that the perfect place to take a selfie for our anniversary was at the top of the ferris wheel on the navy pier.
It took quite a lot of convincing on his part to get me on the ride, but eventually, I gave in. I just can't say no to him, and honestly, who would want to.
Once we were on, it took a small amount of time to reach the top with the few stops it made to load and unload passengers. As we neared, the top Tom pulled out his phone. He already has his arm around me due to my nerves as well as the slight chill in the air. When we halted at the top, I turned to look at the camera he was holding up, and then, I heard his voice,
"Look at me, darling."
As I turned my head, I was automatically met with his soft lips. We kissed for a moment longer, and when we pulled away, I cuddled into his side. Seconds later, we were moving once again. We finally reached the bottom and exited the ride.
I automatically started begging to see the pictures, and he told me I needed to be patient. This led me to believe he had to have been recording to capture the moment, but honestly, I didn't mind that idea either.
