After getting into the paddock you look around at all garages in awe, the fact that they can move around with all the equipment so much and still look so presentable wows you.
You walk down to the third garage which was Ferrari and see Charles standing in front of the garage talking to another person I presumed to be another driver,yet couldn't see who it was from afar. You walk up to them and see who Charles is talking to, and when you do. You scream inside.
It was THE Sebastian Vettal, four time world champion, one of your favourite drivers of all time (other then Charles). "Seb this is my sister, Aurelia" He says whilst smiling at you. "Hello Aurelia, Is this your first race? I've never seen you in the paddock before, or well knew you existed." He says and laughs, causing you to smile back.
"Yeah it's my first race, my family chose to not tell all the social media about me so I could grow up normally, but I have loved racing my whole life." Seb smiles at you, " I've got to go find my family, so I'll see you both around". You both say goodbye and walk into the Ferrari garage.
"Oh here, Charlie, your car keys." You place them in his hand, he puts them in his pocket and places his arm around your shoulders. You look up at him and smile. " Charles! Is this your new girlfriend? She looks a bit young for you, don't you think?" A mechanic comes up to him and says whilst laughing.
He laughs back, "No, she's my sister, Aurelia. She's going to be watching the race from here today". You smile at the mechanic which you soon learn is called Liam. " I've got to go now, but I think Driver warm up is starting in 10 minutes". He looks down at his watch.
"Oh god it is, Lia you can wait in my driver room if you want whilst I do this, I'll only be about half an hour?" You nod and he leads you to his driver room and you sit down. "I'll be back soon, I'll tell Arthur to come up if you want?" " Yeah that would be good thanks Charlie" " No problem princess, I'll be back later" He kisses your forehead and then leaves.
You pull out your phone and take a photo of Charles helmet to post on your Instagram story tagging him. Now that people will know your apart of the Leclerc family, you've been thinking of making your Instagram account public. Although the fact that even Charles gets hate on his Instagram posts puts you off when you think about it.
After looking through your friends instagram stories, you click onto the formula one Instagram account to watch the driver warm up just as Charles's interview starts.
(On the livestream)
"Hello Charles, so you home Grand Prix, how are you feeling before the race?"
"Yeah, there's so many fans here supporting and that just makes a home race better, feeling like we have a good chance of winning, yeah starting on pole really helps."
" And do you think Lando behind you will be quick enough to catch up with the new McLaren upgrade?"
" They are fast, but I think this track plays to our advantages more then the McLaren, I think that we can be faster, but I think there will definitely be some defending needed"
"And off the topic of the race, you've been seen with a girl around the paddock this morning, do you have anything to say about who they are?"
" Yes, she is my younger sister"
" And a few words in your own language please"
"Je suis vraiment reconnaissant envers tous les fans ici aujourd'hui et je pense que nous avons de bonnes chances de gagner la course aujourd'hui."
"I'm really grateful for all the fans here today and I think we have a good chance of winning the race today."
"Thank you Charles, and that is our last interview"
