Realising who it was you soften into their arms and hug them back, resting your head on their chest.
"Oh Lia, why didn't you come to me?" Charles says, with a broken voice showing he had been crying.
"I'm sorry Charlie, I just wasn't thinking." You reply as he pulls you closer into him.
You both stand there for a few more seconds before you pull away and look behind you to Lando. You let go of your brother and walk up to him.
"I can't thank you enough for what you have done for me, especially since you barely know me. I don't know what would have happened if you didn't come for me."
"Anytime liar" He replies, smiling down at you.
"If you ever need anything, just ask."
"How about you make it up to me with dinner one night?" You slightly blush.
"Sure Lando."
"I'll message you later, I need to go do some work with Mclaren" You give him a quick hug and say goodbye before going inside the house with Charles.
You get into the living room and lie down on the sofa within Charles sitting down at the end. "Lia, can you tell me what happened?"
"I will Charlie, just not yet. I need to process everything that happened because I still don't understand. Or really remember what happened."
"How much did you drink!" Charles says loudly. "Charles, please don't shout." You say holding your head.
"No! I tell you all the time don't drink and what do you do? Go drink! What's mama going to think when I tell her you got so drunk you don't remember what happened when your ex showed up!" You stare at him speechless.
"Just shut up Charles! You don't know anything that happened so you don't get a say because it's none of your business!" You say whilst standing up.
"No it is my business, you made it my business when you came to me crying a year ago because you couldn't deal with a little argument!" He shouts , getting up from the couch.
"Charles, you have no idea what happened, and you wouldn't understand if I told you because you don't have feelings for anyone! So just leave me alone for fucks sake!" You shout back, grabbing a cushion and throwing it at him, then beginning to walk away.
"You're just a teenager! You don't understand anything and you definitely don't speak to me like that! Get back here right now!" He shouts at you walking up the stairs.
You stop in your tracks and turn around at him, give him the middle finger and carry on walking to your room, locking it behind you.
You throw yourself onto your bed as you hear the front door slam shut as you presume Charles has just stormed out. You would have left the house, but you didn't think it to be safe as your head was still in a lot of pain and you weren't sure what was wrong.
As you lie there you realise just how tired you were and within 5 minutes you were fast asleep, still in Lando's clothes he gave you last night.
2 hours later you wake up to someone knocking on your door.
"Lia? Are you in there?"
"Who is it?" You call out, still lay across the bottom of your bed, too tired to get up.
"Arthur, can I come in?"
"Oh sure" You reply, finally getting up from the bed and unlocking your door to let him in.
"Do you know where?" Arthur begins to say until you raise your finger to his mouth.
"Don't say his name, I'm pissed at him"
"Okay, I'll let you both calm down before I ask why. Anyway, I was just coming to ask if you needed anything from the shop "
"Yes, I do. Can I come with you please? I'll get changed. I'll just need 5 minutes?"
"Okay, are you sure you don't want me to just get it? You look a bit tired."
"No I'll come, see you downstairs in a few minutes" Arthur leaves your room closing the door behind him whilst you walk over to your bedside table to pick up a hair tie and tie your hair up in a ponytail.
You grab some shorts and a shirt from your drawer and get changed into them.

You quickly put on some mascara to liven up your eyes a bit and then walk downstairs to Arthur who was sitting down on his phone.
"Okay I'm ready" You say, grabbing a hat as Arthur looks up to you.
"Okay, I need to get some things for Carla too so we will stop off at mine after" You nod and open the front door.
Arthur shuts it behind him and walks towards his car next to you. He gets in the drivers side and you sit next to him, putting your seatbelt on. As Arthur starts driving off, you see another car pull into the driveway.
"Why can't he just stay at his house? Like he has another place to stay and I don't." You complain.
"Because Mama asked him to stay and look after you."
"But I'm an adult, I'm not a kid anymore!"
"In his eyes you're still a little kid, someone that he has to look after"
"I wouldn't say screaming at someone is caring for them"
Arthur sighs and looks at you, staying in silence.
"Can I stay with you and Carla please Arthur"
"I don't know, I'd have to ask her, and it's not got another bed"
"I'll sleep on the floor" you say back.
"I'll ask her when we go there okay?" You nod and smile.
A minute later you arrive at the shop. As you both get out, fans already come up asking for a photo with Arthur. You take the photo for them and then you both carry on the shopping..
"You go get what you want, I'll pay"
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah"
You walk off from Arthur and grab your favourite pasta and then head towards the pharmacy.
" Hello. What can I get you?" The pharmacist asks.
"Hi, I'd like to buy a drug test."
