The rain started pouring down almost instantly. Sebastian took off his coat and put it over Ciel and Rose's heads.
Ciel looked at him "Wha-"
"It's so that your bodies won't become so cold. When we return to the mansion, I'll prepare some hot milk for the two of you, I'll add honey or brandy to sweeten it" Sebastian says with a smile
Sebastian and Grell start fighting. Rose stood behind her brother as instructed.
Ciel looks at Madam Red "why..."
"Why? You're asking me now, how do you expect me to answer?" Madam Red questions "You and I have become guard dog and sinner. If you weren't a guard dog of this place, and became the hunted one instead" Madam Red took out a knife
"Ciel" Rose says worriedly
"THEN THERE WOULD ONLY BE ONE PATH FOR YOU" Madam Red screams and charges at them
Ciel quickly pushed Rose away and went to dodge, but he got cut on the arm. He made a sound of pain and held his arm.
"Ciel!" Rose stood up and looked at his arm
"I'm fine," Ciel tells her before turning his attention back to Madam Red "Madam! As a doctor, why did you have to murder people?!"
"EVEN IF I TOLD A LITTLE BRAT LIKE YOU, YOU WOULDN'T UNDERSTAND! YOU WOULD NEVER UNDERSTAND!" Madam Red puts her hand around Ciel's throat and holds him against the wall choking him "YOU WOULD NEVER UNDERSTAND!"
"No stop!" Rose shouts angrily
"stay.. there.. Rose" Ciel mutters
"You... You.." Madam Red raises her knife "IF YOU TWO HAD NOT BEEN BORN, THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN THE BEST"
She goes to stab him and Ciel closes his eyes.
"NO"
After a short minute Ciel opens his eyes and sees Madam Red on the floor and Rose standing infront of him. The knife Madam Red had was now tightly held in Rose's hand, blood dripped from her hand.
"How dare you," Rose's eyes glowed red as she raised the knife to Madam Red "hurt my brother!"
"Rose no!" Ciel grabs onto Rose's arm, stopping her. "That's our.. I said not to.. that's an order.."
Rose let go of the knife as she turned towards Ciel.
"I'm alright," Ciel tells her
"Sebastian," Rose turn her head
Ciel looks over to see Sebastian holding his injured arm.
"Madam Red!" Grell shouts "Kill those little brats already!"
Ciel wrapped an arm around Rose and brought her close to him protectively.
"Can't.." Madam Red replies
"Eh?" Grell looks confused
"I really can't do it.." Madam Red starts crying "I can't kill these children"
"You're saying this now?" Grell asks "After killing so many women? If you don't kill them it'll be your turn to be killed!"
"But.." Madam Red looks at the two siblings "These children are my-"
Grell plunged his chainsaw scythe into her heart "How disappointing Madam Red" he pulled it back out, killing her "I am no longer interested in an ordinary woman like you"
Ciel and Rose watched in horror as their aunt fell to the ground covered in her own blood.
"I am not interested in the you who got carried away by meaningless emotions, I helped you create alibis, just for you i broke the rules of the death gods and even helped you kill those women not in the death list. You have disappointed me, in the end you are no different from the ordinary women! you are not fit to wear red" Grell takes off madam red's coat and puts it on "the curtains of this cheap theatre act of your life falls now, goodbye madame"
Grell starts to walk away. Ciel watches as Rose walks over to Madam Red
"Auntie.." Rose stares at her
"Rosie.." Ciel calls out
"She wasn't going to kill us.." Rose's eyes turn solid red
"Young master move away" Sebastian says
Ciel looked at him "Wha-"
"Move now" Sebastian grabs Ciel and pulls him to him.
Rose runs at Grell and slams him into the wall.
"Rose no!" Ciel shouts "Stop!"
"She can't hear you young master, she's completely lost control this time" Sebastian tells him seriously "this isn't good, we might get attacked as well if we don't stay out of the way" Sebastian picks up Ciel and jumps ontop of a building
"Sebastian we are not leaving without her!" Ciel shouts "Why isn't my commands working?!"
"Calm down my lord, I would never leave without the young miss." Sebastian replies "I just need to keep you out of danger while I get to her."
"well well well.. what do we have here, a little demon girl.. hm..." Grell got up and looked at Rose "Isn't this interesting.."
Grell charges at Rose with his scythe, she grabbed the blade directly and it cut her hand some before stopping.
"what?!" Grell shouts surprised "Y-you stopped my blade!"
Rose used the knife Madam Red had earlier and stabbed it right through his stomach before Grell kicked her and they both jumped away from each other.
Grell pulled the knife out "Impressive little demon"
Rose growled, Grell once again charged at her and they begun fighting, both landing blows against each other. They were soon stopped by something hitting Grell in the face knocking him down, it looked like a claw. Sebastian jumped down and wrapped his arms around Rose.
Rose struggled to get out of his hold but Sebastian simply covered her eyes.
"It's alright," Sebastian says "Calm down."
Rose soon stopped struggling and Sebastian removed his hand away from her eyes. Her eyes were back to their usual blue color.
"Have you calmed yourself now?" Sebastian asks
Rose nods as Sebastian releases his hold on her. The two look up to see a man with glasses on top of a building, he was the one who hit Grell.
"Sorry to interrupt" the man says "I am William T. Spears of the Dispatch Management Division of the Death Gods. I am here to pick up this Death God"
"William" Grell says happily "William you are here to save me!"
The man William jumps down and lands on top of Grell's head, he looks at Sebastian "This thing have caused you a lot of trouble this time round. Sorry."
William grabbed Grell by the hair and pulled him away, out of sight.
Sebastian walked over to Ciel who was sitting by Madam Red now "My apologies, I allowed the other one to escape."
"Forget it. It's not... important anymore" Ciel says sadly and looks up at Rose who was beside Sebastian "Are you alright?"
"Yes," Rose replies "My apologies.. it won't happen again."
"I'm not mad that you disobeyed me," Ciel stood up and faced her "I'm afraid you'll get hurt."
"I'll be more careful next time," Rose replies as she looks down at Madam Red
"Let's get back to the city's mansion," Sebastian intervenes "as I promised I will prepare some hot milk for you."
"I guess you're right" Ciel sighs, he stood up and held his hand out to Rose "Come on Rosie, let's go home."
Rose smiles slightly as she takes Ciel's hand "Yes."
