Already in the city, Naru, Ominu and Mimikyu were hidden so as not to be seen by the civilians who passed through the places with their Pokémon, doing their activities.

"All right, the three of us need to look for trusted allies to help us and we can't draw attention."

"Ominu is right, we should be careful and aware of the people and Pokémon that are all around us, right Mimikyu?"

The disguised Pokémon nodded and pointed to a tanned old man in a yellow robe and a boy with equally tanned green hair. That was Hala and his grandson Hau.

"Maybe they can help."

"So let's go."

Mimikyu and the two animals sneaked past some stalls, Ominu smelled food but was pulled by Mimikyu's arms while Naru looked around to see if no one was coming. After drinking a little longer, she signaled with her tail to continue the search.

"The coast is clear, there's no one here."

Ominu and Mimikyu followed Naru. The plan had no way to fail until some trainers who were walking nearby saw them.

"Look! A brown Pachirisu with a bow."

Naru gasped in astonishment when she was noticed by one of the trainers.

"And there's also a brown Monferno with glasses and Mimikyu who is live!"

"Humm...RUN!"

Ominu yelled, starting to run from the trainers with Naru and Mimikyu to go after Hau and Hala as quickly as possible, so the curious trainers threw their Pokéballs but Mimikyu bounced them back at the trainers like in a baseball game. Naru and Ominu continued their flight until a certain brown leopard jumped out of the trees to intervene.

"Are you guys okay?"

"Yoshi!" Naru and Ominu smiled in relief.

"Fast! You will find them. Let me take care of those trainers."

Mimikyu and the transformed teens nodded and continued with their search. The trainers had their Pokéballs back and were amazed at Mimikyu's intelligence and agility.

"Mimikyu is very smart!"

"I don't think we should try, they didn't like what we tried to do."

"I think those two brown-colored creatures weren't Pokémon."

"But you shouldn't mess with my friends!"

The trainers were freaked out by Yoshi in his leopard form.

"Another brown Pokémon?!?!"

"I am not a Pokémon. I am Battle Scarred, protector of Pokémon and as you can see I can transform them into animals thanks to my great friend Helios."

The trainers then started to walk away with trepidation.

"Sorry Scarred. We didn't mean to capture your friends, but the little one in the bow is really cute by the way."

"Her name is Naru! And with her is the monkey named Ominu and Mimikyu."

The trainers left and without them seeing, Yoshi returned to human form and went to see Mimikyu, Naru and Ominu on a mission to find allies for the battle. Hau and Hala were walking, the best time for the three of them to show up.
