CHAPTER 8 — FOREVER ──────────────────
AUGUST, 2007. That was when my entire existence changed course for the worst. Pieces of my life started to be crushed and demolished, grounded into dust that could never again be picked up and put back together.

That month, Geto, y/n and I were assigned to retrieve the Star Plasma Vessel, Riko Amani. After finding her, it was our job to escort her to Master Tengen.

After spending time in Okinawa, we all returned to Jujutsu High.
While in Okinawa—though we enjoyed our time on the beach, eating good food, and being kids—I had my cursed technique activated the entire time in order to protect us. So by the time we returned, I was exhausted. I'm afraid that the very moment I let my guard down...
was the moment I cost my lover her life.

"We're finally inside of Jujutsu High's barrier." Geto explained with a tone of relief.
Standing outside past the schools big red gates, y/n, Riko, Kuroi and Gojo finished climbing the last stair. Riko came to a stop and leaned over, the palms of her hands pressing into her knees. "Boy, am I relived to hear that!!"
"So am I." Kuroi smiled.
Y/n walked past them towards Geto, Gojo standing just near the top of the stairs. She stopped and looked towards her boyfriend, giving a weak smile. He looks so tired... "Satoru."
The white haired teen peered at her through his circle lenses.
"You did amazing...Thank you."
"Yes...You really worked hard this time!" Geto added on.
*** Gojo stared at his two colleagues for a moment, before his eyes turned from an electric blue to a normal baby blue. He let out a sassy groan. "Ugh! I never wanna get stuck again babysitting some kid!!"
