Elizabeth lived in a small house in a wooded area of New Hampshire. Wi-fi was really scarce, and there wasn't much in the way of entertainment, like dance clubs, or a place to shoot some pool.
She was looking at a photo of her late husband, who perished in a warehouse fire, not too far from Derry. She never had children. She knew a girl that lived up the street from her. She was no ordinary girl though. Truth be told, she set houses on fire. The cops never arrested her, and she had no parents to discipline her.
It was 2 am in the morning, and Elizabeth was in a deep slumber. The silhouette of the bright moon shone through the drapes by her bed. She was startled by the doorbell ringing. "Who could that be at this hour?" She got out of bed, in her blue gown, and white socks, as she walked downstairs. When she opened the door, her eyes grew wide with terror.
There stood the girl, that lived up the street. She looked to be about 8 years old, with blonde hair, ocean blue eyes, plump red lips, which curved into a mischievous smile, as she was holding a box of matches.
"What are you gonna do?" Elizabeth asked, a tinge of shakiness in her voice.
"Die, woman!" the girl bellowed. She started lighting up a match, which became lit, and threw it on the floor, causing a massive fire to spread rapidly. The girl quickly ran outside to watch Elizabeth's house burn down to the ground.
"No!" howled Elizabeth. She scrambled to get the fire extinguisher to put out the fire. She tried in vain to extinguish the unwelcome inferno that was starting to ruin her home. The fire started to expand.
Elizabeth couldn't make it out. The girl watched from afar, as the house burned to the ground. An evil grin was plastered on her face. Her eyes turned red, as she laughed evilly at her success.
"You can call me, The Fire Girl."
