Eda was already sitting in the very spot in the Temple of Apollo where she and Serkan had once sat when she heard footsteps.
«Come on» Serkan grinned when he saw the girl. «I didn't think I'd meet anyone here».
«Sit down» Eda pointed to the place next to her. «You showed me this place».
She realized from the thoughtful expression on his face that he had compared her words earlier about a dear person and places and the fact how she knew this place. But to Eda's surprise, Serkan didn't ask anything.
«So you like the stars too» he finally broke their silence.
«Some of the things I wished for during the starfall last time came true. The rest I'd like to phrase a little better».
«So you're the kind of person who believes in wishes coming true when you make wishes during stargazing or when you blow out candles?»
«You made a wish on your birthday, too» Eda smiled. «Would you like some coffee?»
«Do you have coffee too?» Serkan was surprised. «I wouldn't say no».
Eda handed the mugs to Serkan while she opened the thermos. She remembered the last time he had done this for them. And she really wished him to remember it.
«I think it's starting» Serkan pulled her out of her thoughts.
«Yes, look, over there» Eda squeezed her eyes shut and made a wish.
When she opened her eyes, Serkan was looking at her with a smile.
«Don't laugh. You don't have to make a wish if you don't want to, but I will. Look over there again».
«There's gonna be a lot more of them tonight, Eda».
«Shh, I'm making a wish» he laughed.
They sat together while they drank coffee, enjoying the stars. This time Eda didn't go for the legend, for Serkan already knew it, though he didn't remember it.
«Alright, I'm off. Thanks for the company» the girl smiled, picking up her empty cup and rising from the ground.
«Is it a secret where you're going?» Serkan asked, rising from his seat as well.
«To another place you showed me».
«Then I think I'll keep you company, if you don't mind».
«I don't mind» Eda smiled.
«Will you tell me about Italy? We have a long way ahead of us».
«Don't say I talk too much» Eda laughed, remembering the last time Serkan had said something like that.
Just like the first time, they arrived at the waterfall after sunrise.
«Are you going to swim?» Eda asked as they approached the waterfall.
She walked down confidently, leaving her backpack, shoes, and shorts on the ground, remaining in her swimsuit, which she had thoughtfully put on this time.
Serkan was still standing at the top, watching the girl's confident actions. It was clearly not the first time she had swum there.
«Hey, Serkan, don't just stand there. Come join me» Eda shouted, emerging from under the water.
He dropped his backpack and T-shirt next to the girl's things.
«You can take off your jeans too, so you don't have to wear wet ones later» Eda suggested, swimming a little closer.
«You won't feel uncomfortable?» The boy wondered.
«It's okay» she swam a little farther toward the middle again, hoping Serkan would follow her.
