NIALLS POV
I flipped through the channels on my TV, and I was bored out of my mind. I ended up watching the movie Finding Nemo, for some reason I always really liked it.
"Niall! Get your lazy arse up! Your mom is on the line and we have to go to the hospital for a Make-A-Wish!" Harry yelled from the other end of the hotel. I walked over to where the phone was and put it up to my ear.
"Hello" I said very monotonous.
"Niall! I didn't know you were in Ireland! Why are you staying in a hotel? You know you and the boys are all welcome here!" My mother said, she was always in a good mood. It pissed me off.
"I didn't want to. simple as that." i snapped and hung up before she could say anything else.I shouldn't be so rude, I haven't seen my mum in such a long time. I think it was a day before the Up All Night tour began, and now it was over.
"Cmon lads! we gotta go!" Liam said and began to round us up. Stuff like this really made me love our job, making someones last wish before they.... died. I really loved this kinda stuff, but hospitals upset me. The feeling of death hung everywhere inside that building.
We left for the hospital, and like usual, we were mobbed. It has gotten to crazy to handle lately, why don't our fans understand that we need to be left alone? I mean I love our fans, and I would personally love to meet every single one of them, but they're so violent it's scary.
We all managed to make it to the car, and once the driver started driving, everyone was on their phones. We were all so close on tour, but I guess everyone was just excited to be on a break from tour. When we got to the hospital, there were no fans there thankfully. The hospital meet and greet was surprise visit, so no one knew, not even the patients.
When we got inside, we were ushered to a meeting room on the 16th floor. No one was out in the halls and the dim lights practically screamed death.
"Thank you boys very much for coming in! The 16th floor is strictly for girls ages 14-18 who are very ill. The girls don't know that you're here, but it will mean a lot to them. We only have twelve girls here today, and a lot of them will not make it past next week. We ask that you please visit every room, it will make them all so happy and feel special!" The woman said who moved us out into the hall. She looked so tired, working in such a terrible place must really take a toll on you eventually.
The lady who was leading us around, Amber, began taking us to rooms.
"This is Kacey" Amber said and led us into Kacey's room. She was a Small little girl, if I didn't know that the girls were all older than 14, i wouldv'e guessed she was seven. She didn't have any hair on her shiny and pale head, and she was struggling to keep her eyes open.
"O-One Direction?" Kacey asked and cracked a smile on her pale and blue lips. She began to sit up, all of her bones cracking when she did. "You guys are my idols" she whispered, then began coughing. We didnt know what to say, she was so frail and weak. What made me the most upset though, is that KAcey will never be able to marry anyone, from what I can tell. She will never get the chance to fall in love, or achieve her dreams. The boys and I talked to Kacey for a while longer and learned that she was 16, she used to be a red head and she loved her sister very much. She also used to be a gymnast, and wants to start gymnastics up again when she can. I hope she does. She deserves to, she was the sweetest girl I had ever met.
We saw a few more girls after Kacey, some with hair, some without. They didn't look like Kacey though, they all had some spark of life left in them.
"We have one more patient left, She's the oldest in this wing. She may look healthy, but she's very ill. Her name is Blair." Lisa read off and sighed after opening the door.
