"Move pleas" someone said sarcastically. But I knew who it was. The same voice everyday, the same time, the same place. No, he never did anything physical to hurt me, but the words they both said still burned in my head long after I got home.

"God she might want to loose some weight. I can tell why she's never have a boyfriend." The Queen bitch said to her ugly companions while draped underneath the boy I've had a crush on for longer than I can remember. I would've said something back; I should have said something back. But I couldn't. Kate was my mum's best friend's daughter, and if I said anything bad, I would be hearing about it from my mum. Kate is bad, but her boyfriend is even worse. Except I've been madly in love with him since we were both ten, and now we're almost sixteen. We used to be best friends, Niall and I, but I'm not quite sure what happened. One day he just showed up to school and didn't talk to me. He left me alone. I had to sit by myself at lunch. I was utterly alone.

" I have to go. Class is starting." I mumbled and began to walk towards my history class, where I was forced to sit next to Niall because our last names both began with the letter 'H'. I slid into my cold seat and set down my backpack. Niall came in a few minutes later and sat down, glaring at me.

"Ok! Good afternoon class! I have a project! You will have a partner for this assignment..." the teacher began. Oh great. I'll have no one to work with because I have no friends. ".... It will be the person sitting next to you! Mr. Horan and Ms. Hailey, you tow will be working on the American Revolution. This project will take a lot of time, and you guy will need to work on it outside of school..." And the rest I tuned out. I had to work with Niall? The biggest reason I have to wear long sleeves every day because I'm embarrassed about my cuts?

"Great" He groaned and laid his head down on the desk.

"Whatever. Just get over it. I feel the same way. Anyways, do you want to come to my house to work on it, or do you want to go to yours?" I asked, trying to be as polite as possible."Lets just go to mine I guess" He groaned and sat up from the desk slowly. I nodded my head and followed him out of the classroom.

FLASHBACK. Six Years Ago.

"Niall? What if you're not my friend when we grow up?" I asked him, and he shook his head quickly.

"That will never happen. See the bracelet I gave you?" he asked and I nodded looking at the red beaded material on my wrist. "I have the same one in blue" He told me holding out his writs. Sure enough, he did have the same one in a blue/ green colour.

"Because we have matching bracelets, that means we'll be friends forever"

FLASHBACK OVER

I looked down and played with the red bracelet on my wrist as I walked into Niall's bedroom. Honestly it looked the same as it did six years ago.

"Hey, you have the same bracelet as I do, but in red. Huh, what a coincidence." Niall said and showed me his matching bracelet. Did he really not remember that he was the one who gave it to me? At least niall was nice to me outside of school...

"C'mon. Lets get started." I said to niall and took my books out of my backpack.

"Babe? You home? Your mum said you were here!" a chirpy voice said from downstairs. Niall and I and just worked on our project for over three hours, and we were Practically finished

"Kate! I'm upstairs with Blair." He said making me cringe. He said my name like it was poison in his mouth. Why was he so rude to me? I head her dainty footsteps trail up the stairs to niall's room.

"oh" Kate said and looking over at me. She began laughing quietly, and niall joined in. Were they in third grade or something? God. I began packing up my stuff in my heavy backpack and walked out the door of his house with out a good bye. At least summer was only a few days away, Atleast then I won't have to worry about the bitch and niall during summer.
