Tracy woke up on a bed. She stretched her limbs which were stiff and sore. An indication that she has been in one position for a long period of time.

Where the hell am I? Tracy thought to herself as she surveyed the room she's in. The room was quite small, about 10 feet square. The only furniture was the bed that she laid on. The walls were plain and seamless white. The floor was also white. There was a door. Or more like a steel panel.

So much white... Tracy approached the door cautiously. There were no knobs of any sort. It was the type of door that slides to open. And it didn't look like it's gonna open anytime soon.

But looks could be very deceiving.

The panel door opened. Tracy cautiously approached it. She peeked out and saw that the door opened to a hallway. A long one Tracy, hesitantly, crossed the threshold.

As her foot stepped into the hallway, all lights turned out and Tracy was plunged in complete darkness that she thought that she had gone blind. After a few seconds, the lights went on just as suddenly as they turned out. But at one end of the hallways go back up. The other end was still pitch black. Tracy was left with no choice but to follow the lighted one.

When the hallway seemed endless for Tracy, it ended up before red paneled door. Tracy raised her hand to knock but the door slid open.

Tracy stepped inside and was once again plunged in complete darkness. She took a few steps and the lights went back on and she found herself inside a wide square room.
What's the matter with this place? Tracy mutters.

Tracy moved to the middle of the room. She almost jumped when a metal panel to her left slid open admitting two young adults. The boy looked like the male version of the girl while the girl looked like the female version of the guy. Tracy doesn't need anyone to tell her that their twins.

The twins found Tracy and they move towards her but at a safe distance. None of them looking at her.

Another panel opened and admitted a teenage girl. The girl's look was quite a bit too severe for her age. She looks like someone who has known pain.

The girl found the three of them and approached Tracy.

"Excuse me," she says, her voice betrays that she has been crying. "Do you know what place is this?"

"I'm just in the dark as you," Tracy replies.

Before the girl could reply, another panel opened in front of them. A brown haired guy entered. He silently made his way towards us and stood silently.

Then, a voice echoed althroughout the room.

"Good day," says the voice, unmistakably male "my name is Thirteen and this is just a voiceover so you cannot interrupt this." The voice takes a dramatic pause "What I am about to tell you will change everything."

"Let me start off by saying that our society is a hollow one. One that only has an exterior. A beautiful one. But it is hollow. Our society doesn't have a heritage. Everything that you see in our society is the same when it was first created."

Tracy couldn't believe what she was hearing. But she couldn't voice out her thoughts so she just kept silent as the voice continues.

"I will explain history like you've never heard it said before." The voice continued. "First is that Newcity is the last refuge of humanity, of the Norms. But let me tell you that it isn't so sixty years ago.

"Sixty years ago, and even a hundred years before that, there was a city. A very progressive city that meets all its citizen's needs. It's name was Elysium and it was populated by a very powerful race. The Utopians. The Utopians were very powerful both physically, as they have powers, and figuratively, as their government controlled and maintained everything.

"But another race coexisted with the Utopians. They were the Elves, those who reside among the forests and learn about the mysteries of by he world. They live in the forest directly north of the city of the Utopians.

"Unlike the Utopians, the Elves are ruled by the oldest among their people. And at the last year of the century, it just so happened that their leader turned out to be quite a bit too ambitious." There was a mocking tone on the voice's speech. "He planned about claiming everything that is absolutely out of bounds of their forest."

"A number of his people already agreed with him and started raiding the farmers on the outskirts of Elysium. Even though the Utopians were all about equality, there was still a social hierarchy so as to identify people.

"The government made it so that the Utopians with somewhat weaker or passive powers will reside on the outskirts or almost outside of the city. But not in poverty, mind you." The voice added. It seemed that the person who made this voiceover was enjoying what he's doing.

"That first attack was followed by another then another until the government was forced to fight back. After so many years of peace. The Utopians will be going into battle. A genocidal one." It is apparent from the voice that the person is not at all fond of the memory.

"The Utopians attacked the city of the Elves, Woodrealm. The Utopians burned it to the ground and sacked it's libraries for the knowledge it contained. Then the First Utopian made a mistake." The voice was sounding bitter now.

"He burned the laboratory of the Elves to the ground and released something very vile and despicable. It is still unknown up to today but what it did was very despicable indeed. It turned the Elves into animals, at least, partly. They are now known as Dystopians.

"The Dystopians launched a full scale attack the next day as there were many who survived the Utopians' attack the night before. Elysium was forced into the defensive. Then the phenomenon that destroyed everything happened.

"One moment, the brightest thin that you could see is the morning sunlight, then a flash, brighter than it, appeared in the sky. Immediately, most of the Utopians lost their powers especially those who were living at the outskirts. It was the day that Elysium fell." The person in the voiceover was genuinely saddened.

"Now, a new generation of Utopians have been formed and there is, once more, hope. You all will be the hope of our race. Our hope for salvation and the hope of claiming what is rightfully ours." The voiceover ended with a beep.
