FLASH FORWARD: TWO AND A HALF MONTHS LATER
"He should be here by now." I huffed as I stared at the sky. I can't look at Connor, Laurel or Michaela right now. I think if I did, I'd start to cry. I'll have to confront how I feel later.
"It's fine." Connor replied.
"What if it's not?" Michaela asked.
"Michaela..." Connor warned.
"What if they got caught or went to the police or she convinced him to pin it on us?" Michaela said. All valid points.
"Wes wouldn't do that." Connor replied.
"He wouldn't, but she would." Michaela replied back.
"Stop, okay? It's going to be fine." Connor gritted.
While they argued, Laurel came over to me and whispered. "Are you going to tell Frank?" She asked me.
Why in the world would I do that? "Tell him that I'm a murderer? No thank you." I retorted.
"Maybe it would be good to tell someone, Piper." Laurel replied.
I shook my head and looked at her like she was insane. "Laurel, we didn't commit tax evasion. Someone is dead right now. I can't tell him that. He'll turn us all in."
She shrugged. I turned my attention to Michaela and Connor arguing.
"I never agreed to this!" Michaela yelled.
"Because you had a meltdown! You could barely form a sentence. So shut up, sit down, and stop acting like a little bitch baby." Connor said to her.
"Do not tell me how to feel right now!" Michaela exclaimed.
Finally, Wes came back. I was actually starting to get worried that he was turning us in, even though he was equally as responsible, if not more responsible for what happened. Whether it was him or that bitch. "Sorry I took so long. I went back for this." Wes said and pulled out the bloody trophy from his bag.

TWO AND A HALF MONTHS EARLIER
Working for Annalise has been interesting, to say the least. I tolerate the people I work with. Asher annoys me and Connor has a complex. Michaela is fine depending on the day and Wes is just...odd. I can't place it. Bonnie is kind of rude and I've managed to steer clear of Frank. Annalise however, she's a hard ass, but I expected her to be.
If our seats weren't assigned in this class, Laurel and I would be sitting together. Her and I have become quite the duo lately.
"The question I'm asked the most often as a defense attorney is whether I can tell if my clients are innocent or guilty. And my answer is always the same- I don't care. And it's not because I'm heartless, although that's up for debate, but because all of my clients, like all of us in this room, lie. And that makes them unknowable. Take Mr. Millstone here." She said and pointed to Asher. "Are you really who you say you are, or are there other sordid details we're missing? Criminal record, divorce, an actual skeleton in your closet?" Annalise went on.
