Aera's pov
I snapped out of my thoughts, and force myself to walk through the door, ignoring them. I fastened my pace as fast as i can and stop beside the convenience store.
I took a deep breathe, trying to calm myself down. "I know i'm going to bump into them one day, but this is too soon, damn it," I whispered to myself. "Whatever, i'm going home."
For that, I walk to my house before the sun set, bringing all the groceries my mother asked me to buy. While sipping on my drink, I unlocked the door to my house.
"I'm back home," I said as I walk into the kitchen. I put all the groceries at the kitchen counter.
"Thank you, love. You can go back to your room and rest, I will call you when I'm done making dinner," my mother said. I nodded my head and make my way upstairs, to my room.
I locked my door and take a seat on my bed. I sighed thinking about the recent event. "Wait, they are wearing the same school uniform as the girls.. which means.." I grabbed my hair in frustration, sighing heavily.
"Fuck my life I guess," I muttered under my breathe and lies on my bed.
Author's pov
"Did she just ignore us?" Haknyeon stated the obvious. "No shit, she just did," Sunwoo rolled his eyes. "Not a very good first impression after years of not seeing each other," Younghoon said. "What did you expect? For her to smile and greet us cheerfully after what happened 7 years ago?" Hyunjae said to Younghoon, making the boy chuckled.
"Let's not waste our time talking about her, we are here for the drinks," Sangyeon said, and the boys nodded as half of them go order their drinks first and the other half are looking for their seats.
Sangyeon, Haknyeon, Younghoon, Eric, and Jacob are looking for the seats first and the rest are ordering their drinks. As the five of them sat down, Sangyeon begins to speak.
"Forget what I said earlier, but whoa i did not expect to see her again," as he finished his words, the rest of the boys laughed.
"So much of saying let's not waste our time talking about her huh," Jacob teased Sangyeon. The other boy glared at him in return. "Let's all be honest here, we are all curious about her whereabouts anyway," he said. "Agree," Younghoon spoke.
"Curious about who?" Kevin asked, as him and the other boys done ordered their drinks. "Aera," Haknyeon answered, and then him and the other boys stand up to take turns to order their drinks.
"Oh her," Changmin spoke. "To be honest, i did not recognise her at first. She looks a little different," he continued. "Different as in getting prettier?" Juyeon teased him, and the boy send a death glare at him. "I did not say that,"
"So Juyeon, you think she's pretty?" it is Changmin's turn to tease him. Juyeon, being the cannot-hide-emotions-and-anything type of person, he stutters. "What.. What i never say that,"
The boys laughed, finding Juyeon hilarious. "You really can't hide anything for shit, Juyeon. You cannot lie for your own good," Hyunjae said. "Yeah, shut up," Juyeon replied back to him.
The other boys arrived at their seats, and now all of them are finally seated together.
"Since when did she come back here?" Eric wonders, and that question is making every each of them wonder too. "Probably just this week," Chanhee answered.
"Do you think she goes to our school?"
Once that question leave Chanhee's mouth, they stopped what they are doing. "Oh, let's hope not," Sunwoo replied. "If she does, it's going to be a long year," Sangyeon said.
