I wake up in the morning and Kenny isn't next to me. Confused, I stand up and go downstairs, thinking he could be in the living room or kitchen. Hopefully he didn't leave..
I get downstairs and am immediately pulled into a warm embrace
"OH JEEZ!"
I hear Kenny laugh
"Morning Buttercup~"
"Why are you all over me already? I just woke up"
"Awww I'm sorry baby. I've been awake for an hour and a half though"
"Why?"
"Because I was doing something"
"What were you doing?"
"You'll just have to see for yourself"
He grabs my hand, dragging me to the kitchen. When we enter, I see a vase with my favorite flowers in it set on the table, and a good breakfast made all set up for us.
And it's all finished off with a small box placed on the table in front of one of the chairs.
"Kenny. What is this?"
"Well I just wanted you to know how amazing you are and how much I love you"
"Awww! You didn't have to though"
"Like I said. I wanted to"
He pecks my lips once before bringing me over to the table. He tells me to not worry about the little box until we're done.
So when we finish, he stands up as do I, and he walks over to me, grabbing the box.
"So, Buttercup. I wanna give you this so you know I'll never leave you. And I love you more than anything in the world"
"What is it?"
He opens the box, showing me a ring with a heart in the middle that has Kenny's name engraved in it
"It's a promise ring. Because I promise I'll always be by your side. And the heart is supposed to be your heart, so my name is on it because you love me! "
I let him put it on my finger, and he holds my hand, smiling at me.
"I have one too."
He takes a ring out of his pocket that has the same thing except his says my name
"There! Now you know how much you mean to me"
"Ken, I've always known how much you love me"
"Well I want everyone else who sees the ring to know that I'm always in your heart, and your always in mine"
My arms go around his neck, and his hold my waist. We pull each other into a tight hug, as I rest my head on his chest and his face is buried in my hair
If this is what true love is, I don't think I'll ever get enough of it.

I'm gonna start putting in filler chapters, like stuff that doesn't entirely matter to the storyline but still plays a role in it cuz I don't wanna end this book early, I have an idea for the ending but you can't know 😝
