Burning lips pressed to mine, full of hungry passion, I never thought he could posses.

I laughed against his lips as they crashed into mine over and over. Heat bubbled and sparked between us. I knew he felt the same.

"Tell me what just happened." I mumbled, breathless, when Soda pulled away.

Soda wrapped his arms around my waist, his hands on my upper back, pressing my chest into his.

"Jesus I love you.... I always have loved you. You. You. You." Soda mumbled in my ear, his lips brushing the top of my earlobe.

"Give me the chance to love you?" He asked, even though it was move like a statement.

"Of course..." I answered as the moonlight shined through the leaves of the willow tree's canopy above my head.

The light danced off of Soda's eyes. All I could hear was the moving water of the river, the buzz of the streetlights, and the soft, loving whispers of my best friend.
