Chapter 11
"Look I-I'll accept your deal," Rishi muttered, "I can't completely say it will work, but you give me 10,000 rukes (would equal $100,000) no matter what." Kaylus smiled manicaly. "Then we have a deal?" Kaylus extended her hand to Rishi. RIshi hesitantly extended her hand to Kaylus before pulling back really quickly, "wait, they money first. I will accept 5,000 rukes up front and the rest later." Kaylus grumbled, looking inside her purse. She pulled a little coin pouch out of the side pocket of her orange purse. Kaylus extended her arm again. "Deal?" Rishi shook her hand. "Deal."

The newly engaged couple went back to the castle after a few more hours of basking in the moments after the proposal. "Oh your highnesses, how was the trip," Diana questioned as she bowed. Kaylus, following Diana, bowed as well. "Wonderful! We're engaged!" Mystic hugged Apollo. Kaylus gritted her teeth, "I'm so happy for you, your highness." Mystic could hear the tone of her voice, being jealous? She didn't pay any attention to it. She was getting married to the love of her life and going to get her kingdom back. Her life couldn't get any more perfect.

"Mommy?" A little kid named Bruriah came waddling out into his mother's shop. "Ah, dear, please go back inside! Mommy is almost done." The little seven year old started to pout. He had untamed red curly hair that fades into black tips, he was a griffin hybrid like his mother, and had bronze skin matched with dark brown freckles. He was a beautiful little kid, and a handful at that. "Fine mommy," Bruriah walked back into the house behind the shop. Rishi sighed as she continued to make the potion.
"Mom? Can I go hunting today? We don't have food again," a girl who looked to be about seventeen, walked out into the shop. She was also a griffin hybrid. She had darker skin than her brother, and had red hair that faded into black. Rishi quickly tried to hide what she was doing. "Ah Koa, you scared me. No need hun, a customer came in today! Paid me enough for dinner." Koa was over the moon excited. She went and hugged her mother, "I'm so happy for you Mom!" Rishi hugged back. "What are you making?" "The customers order. Anyways, what do you and your brother want to eat?" Koa was confused why her mother wouldn't allow her to see what she was making, but didn't mind it. "I'll go ask him," Koa cheered as she walked away. Rishi sighed after Koa left the room. Koa turned around to ask her mother what she wanted to eat, but she stopped at the doorway. "I can't let those kids know what is happening. If this goes south, they can't be punished for my wrong doing." Koa raised an eyebrow. "This love potion has to be perfect." Koa was taken back. Why would she make a love potion? Koa walked away. She didn't know anything and she won't be saying anything.

"Your majesty?" Diana knocked on the door to Mystic and Apollo's bedroom. After they announced their engagement, Apollo planned a ball. Every kingdom and tribe were coming, except the obvious. Mystic was nervous, yet excited. She would get to meet all the other kingdoms for once in her life. "Ah, Diana. Come in," currently Diana was getting Mystic ready. Kaylus had, "some business to take care of," as she phrased it. Mystic didn't have time to worry about what she was doing. "Let's get you ready, young queen." Diana walked over to Mystic's walk in wardrobe. She came back out with a floor long, off the shoulder, light blue dress. The dress had white details all over the dress. (Think of Belle's dress in Beauty and the Beast except light blue) Mystic loved it. "Is this the dress you had in mind?" "Oh, Diana. You can read me like a book." Diana chuckled.

After Diana put Mystic into the magnificent dress, she did Mystic's hair. She put it up into a long french braid with a golden hair pin. "Ah, thank you Diana." "Of course, anything for you your majesty." Diana bowed. "Darling, no need for formality. Please, call me Mystic," Mystic grabbed Diana's hands. "Of course, you- Mystic," Diana stuttered. Someone knocked at Mystic's door. "Come in." A tall, dark brown hair, ox hybrid walked into the room. "Are you ready for the ball, young queen." "Ah, yes let's go," Mystic walked with the guard, who later came to be known to Mystic as Oxton, to the ballroom.
Two guards at the door bowed at Mystic as they opened the doors for her. She walked in, her light blue want white heels clanking on the wooden floor.
Everyone stopped talking as they stared at her. Mystic looked around. She saw people of all different backgrounds standing, staring at her. Apollo looked over and smiled. He motioned for her to come sit beside him on the throne. Mystic smiled as she sat next to Mystic.
Mystic was in bliss. She was sitting next to the man she loved watching as all the kingdoms got along in peace. She never knew a day like this would arrive. She couldn't help but smile. As the music seceded to a pause, Apollo stood up. Clearing his throat, Apollo began. "You may be wondering why I gathered you all here today. Well," Apollo grabbed Mystic's left hand, "I'm engaged!" The room was silent, not even a cricket was heard. Mystic gulped. She started to let her thoughts get to her head. What if they don't accept her? What if they hate her? What if they bring her back to her parents and-. Everyone started to cheer. Mystic let out a breath she didn't even know she was holding.
Then came a loud crash.
