On Friday, my friends ignored me completely. God, it's adorable when they do that. It's as if they think I care.
I knew that my friends were going to be ignoring me for the entire day, because the moment I stepped into the homeroom, they silently walked to the other end of the classroom. You're feeling sorry for me, aren't you? But don't worry, I'm used to people ignoring me. Like, really used to it. Back in primary school, Hazel and Piper gave the silent treatment to me almost every month due to my insanity. No, not insanity. I like to call it fangirlness. The act of making reading into a hobby while your friends attempt to make your life miserable.
Throughout Maths and English, Hazel and Piper whispered to each other like retards while sneering in my direction. How touching. I have such loyal friends. Glad to know that Piper and Hazel don't judge people by their hobbies. Oh, wait. They do.
At recess, I got the hell out of there. My friends dived for the oak tree, naturally, and spread their legs out to make as little space for me as possible. Haha. My predictions were correct.
I sat on the bench. All alone. Eating an apple. Sitting on a cold hard bench, all alone, eating an apple, while my friends shared pieces of mango and gossiped under the oak tree. Because they're such good friends.
I continued having bitter and sarcastic conversations in my head all recess, as I usually do when I'm being ignored.
Oh look, there's Jay. He was gonna walk towards me - no, wait. He greeted a curvy blonde girl who looks like she lives in a salon. And, may I point out, Jay is enjoying himself.
Wow. This day just keeps getting better.
