3. Alyss? Alyss! Wake up!

Ever since the reunion with Black Sheep- I mean Carmen, things have been better than ever! Carmen introduced me to her team, and I introduced her to my roommate Alyss. We would talk for hours, and I never truly realized how much I missed her before I found her. It was wonderful. We were back together. I- in a friend way, of course! Its not like were dating or anything! Heh! *GaE sWeAtInG* We're just friends! *Muttering* "I wish it was more than that, though." I mean, um, there's no way we could possibly be together! We were apart for 2 years!

I found her... I can't believe it! I should keep her close, I should protect her. I won't let ANYTHING happen to my love, I MEAN- my friend! I won't let anything happen to my friend! Yes, that's it! My friend. That Alyss though... She's in the way. What if y/n falls in love with her? What Am I going to do.. Then again...

Alyss can't steal y/n away from me, if she's not alive..

I went to her college dorm, and picked the lock. I walked in and saw the roach- I meeeaaannnnn I saw Alyss. Y/n was at the shop, so I have some one on one time with little Alyss. She was reading a book while sitting on an armchair. She looked at me and said;

"Oh! You must be Carmen, y/n's friend! You just missed her. She went to the shops 5 minutes ago."

I approached her. "I did not come here for y/n." She looked confused, so I added, "Sitting all alone. Not very smart. Y'know what else isn't smart? Not installing cameras. There will be no hard evidence." I smirked, and took a couple more steps towards her.

"W- what are you talking about? Stay away from me!" She cried.

"I'm afraid I can't do that."

I don't know why I did this. What possessed me? Why? Just Why? I stared at the bloody body for a moment, realization settling in. I killed a person! Just because she was friends with y/n! I ran. And I ran, while thoughts swirled in my mind. What have I done? What is wrong with me? Me and y/n are friends! So why did I get so worked up about it? The second I reached HQ, I put on my best act.

"Carm!" Said Ivy. "How did the mission go?"

"Oh! Um, great! Yeah, vile never got their hands on the gold."

"Gold? I thought you were stealing back diamonds?"

Oh no. My cover is blown! Quick, Quick, think! Ugh! All I can think about is what I did! Finally, I came up with an excuse. Ivy bought it, and I said I was going to sleep. Just as I started to think I wouldn't get rest, a comforting thought entered my mind.

"y/n doesn't have to know"

And with that thought, I drifted asleep.

Y/N's pov, AKA, little miss gae's pov:

I finished my grocery shopping! It took forever for me to find everything! I spent like, hang on... *checks watch* 40 minutes in there! Its night now.

I went back and saw the door was slightly open. Strange. Alyss always double checks the lock. I walked in and saw a horrid sight.

My roommate. Lying in a pool of her own blood. I stood frozen, my heart racing. Finally, I grabbed the phone and dialed 911.

"I don't understand!" I told the cops. "This clearly was not an accident! Someone did this to her!"

"Do you know anyone that might have a grudge against her?" The officer asked.

I shook my head, while tears streamed down my cheeks. "She was kind, caring, reliable, and honest. I don't understand how someone could kill her."

"Where were you at the time?" The cop asked

"Grocery store" I told her.

The cops questioned me for a while. After that I moved into a different apartment and I called Carmen, and told her everything. She managed to comfort me, but only barely. I told her I couldn't bear to go to her funeral.

"Its ok." She said. "I will go with you"

"Really?"

"Of course."
