LILA’S POV: “Lila, come over here” My mom called me for the 10th time today “This is my second daughter very fun, loving and caring” I quickly waved “It is so nice to finally meet you in person” I said cheerily I was getting tired of these, like I’m just 19 for crying out loud. Walking away to the back of the stage I headed off to the kitchen pouring myself a drink, I slowly removed my heels and sat on the kitchen stool there. Closing my eyes I mentally prepared myself on how I should not make mistake or do anything silly on stage because Social media would not have mercy in tearing down my father’s company name. Standing up, Ready to go, I stepped out into the hallway and unto the back of the stage to present this year’s company award with him. So basically I’m the second face you see once you check out the company so who cares about a second face when you have already seen the first face. But I’m used with it you see I’m always second at everything, still peeping out and listening attentively to know when I’m being called to come on stage. That’s when someone tapped me on my shoulder, Saying “Are you Miss Connor’s “He asked looking at a list? “Yes I am any issue” I said raising my eyebrows. He looked a little bit older than me “Nah I am the cook’s son just wanted to confirm if you had eaten” “Oh you are Kate’s son, nice to meet you, heard a lot about you and yeah I have eaten, thanks a lot” I said as I walked into the stage Facing the crowd I was all smiles. You see, I love this world I was born into. I loved the MONEY world, the fake smile, the depressed and really manipulative world. I Loved it. I never had regret. My therapy said it’s because I’m a Choleric-Capricorn but whatever I love getting exhausted and really tired it’s so relaxing, but my sister said “ it’s because you are a fucking psychopath”
