NIJEL'S POV
"Your Kate's son .nice to meet you... "She had definitely been the first person who (1) Ever called my mom by her name and (2) Referred to me as a person and even said thanks today. I just stared at her till she disappeared behind the curtain that is when I realized I did not do what I came for
I'm just back from the states so I decided to help my mom tonight so I kept nagging her till she gave me this list to make sure the VIP's had eaten. And I cannot remember whether she said yes or no. Whatever, I just continued my journey of meeting extremely stock-ups.
Later on, I decided to stay at my mom place for the night. Entering into the house, my little sister about 7 or8 who cares anyway doesn't just forget the date and her presents jumped on me. Lifting her up I tickled her and carried her up
"How are you" I said
"I'm fine, mom is in the kitchen" she said still smiling as I brought her down. Making my way into the kitchen I saw my mom on the phone
"No don't worry; sure you can come over for dinner to tell me all about it; relax I'm here for you; you know that right; yeah; sure; bye" hanging up the phone she turned around and saw me .waving a little she turned and said
"How long have you been standing there "she said pointing at me
"Good evening to you too mom" I said stretching on the mom part
"Ugh stop it or you get out of here" she said going back to her dinner preparation
"Never knew your during therapy session" I replied picking some already cleaned carrot
"Oh you silly boy, it is just her, I believe you must have met her"
"Okay. So what are we having for dinner, because I'm starving?"
Laughing she continued cooking giving me onions to chop. I knew I should have left.
During dinner, the doorbell rang so I went to get it. Opening the door I found myself dumbstruck again. She was I don't even know what to say I'm speechless. I can't believe someone made me speechless.
"Oh Kate's son didn't catch your name there. Anyways good to meet you again" she was talking so fast
"I'm Nigel" I said opening the door wider for her to enter. Stepping in, I noticed she was on bare foot like as if she felt at home. Entering into the dining table, my sis dropped her tab and ran to her. She squatted just in time to lift her up. Her and my sister were talking so excitedly, when she said " oh I got you something" she dug her hand into her bag and brought out a new set of Barbie doll outfit, squealing excitedly my sister hugged her so tight. Then she went to my mum and gave her a hug, it was like she was a part of the family. Giving her a pure ICE Gold chain collection, my mum was so happy. I kind of felt jealous I won't lie so I said "right, so where is my gift"
"Oh Nigel grown men don't need gifts" my Mum said
"Yeah and beside grown men stuff are quite expensive" my sis said
"Actually, I did not know I would see you here if not I would have bought something" she said
"Nah, I'm good just kidding" I said going back to my food. Dinner became lively and interesting. After clearing the table I went to my room setting up my ps4 I started playing.
