Immediately after this conversation, Sakura almost ran to the bathhouse, where she spent a lot of time scrubbing herself almost to the point of bleeding. She felt repulsion, and disgust and couldn't believe what she heard. She didn't want to believe it, tears began to well up in her eyes.

She returned to her room, trembling, and sat on the floor next to the bed. — I'm carrying his child... — she whispered, staring blankly at the floor. She felt dirty and disgusted with herself. Why did this have to happen to her? Why? Wasn't killing her entire village and family enough? Wasn't sacrificing her as a demon priestess enough of a burden? Why should she sacrifice her body and soul? Why would she give birth to the child of a tyrant whom she abhors?

- I... don't want.... — tears came to her eyes again, and she knelt before her fate in despair. — I don't want this monster's child... — Sakura tucked her legs in and rested her head on her knees. She felt the familiar, comforting presence of the demon near her. -What should I do, Father? —

The fox sat down right next to her and picked her up, setting her on his lap and gently stroking her head, hugging her. — Don't worry, my child... I'll keep watch. - Sakura burst into tears, cruel sobs.

Kakashi stood outside the door and heard her words and cries, he was worried about the pink-haired girl and wanted to make sure everything was okay, even though he knew it wasn't. He saw it in the look on her face when he told her she was pregnant. He let go, moved away from the door, and went to his room.

— Raised by Tsunade Senju.... — he said under his breath, looking at the pages in front of him. He grimaced as he re-read the information he had gathered on the King's orders. — Only lies... — he tore the sheet of paper from the notebook and crushed it in his hand, burning it to ashes.

— To think that a demon responsible for the deaths of so many people raised one. — Kakashi laughed quietly and looked towards the window. He already knew what to do, even though he knew the consequences if his intentions were revealed.

For the next few days, Sakura did not want to see anyone, barricaded herself in her chamber, and did not even want to hear about leaving. Kakashi knocked on the door as usual. — Lady Sakura, please open the door. — silence, no response. He sighed heavily, it happened every time. The woman simply ignored him, didn't want to eat anything, didn't want to listen to him, didn't want to talk to anyone. — Please, it's been a week... — He was about to relent when suddenly the door opened, and without wasting any time, the man walked inside.

Standing in front was a pink-haired girl, she had bags under her eyes, red from crying, she was thinner and looked worse than he had last seen her. Her pink locks were all tangled and disheveled, and it seemed that she hadn't even changed her clothes for several days. She stood in front of him, slightly hunched, her head bowed.

Kakashi looked at her with sympathy, it was a truly unpleasant sight. — My Lady, I know this is hard for you- —

— This child is not a problem for me. - she interrupted him, her voice was slightly hoarse and quiet. — I never would have thought that I would be carrying the child of the man I hate the most. —

Kakashi looked at her in surprise and offered to bring food as she was hungry. However, she was unable to do so, because one of the servants came after the chili and said that the King was waiting for Sakura in his office.

When the woman entered the office, she met the eyes of a black-haired man sitting at the desk with a stony expression on his face. To her surprise, she also saw the blonde girl, Ino, smiling happily. The whole situation was strange and they didn't like it in the slightest.

— Let's get straight to the point. - he said as soon as Sakura stood next to Ino. —Sakura, the status and function of "first concubine" is passed on to Ino. — he said calmly, looking at both women.

Sakura narrowed her eyes slightly, dissatisfied with what she heard, and frowned. - I do not agree. — She guessed what was the reason for her status change, but she couldn't allow it. Sakura had a bad feeling about what would happen to her if she lost her title, Ino certainly didn't like her. In turn, Sasuke looked at her with curiosity, he thought that the pink-haired girl would be rather happy. — There is no evidence that this is Your Majesty's child. — she said, maintaining eye contact with the man.

Ino couldn't believe what this simple woman said. — How dare you! Are you suggesting that I am- — She raised her voice indignant at what she heard, but she restrained herself, she did not want to blaspheme in the presence of the king. — You who locked yourself in your room for a week, where no one knew what was happening inside! —

Sasuke, however, remained unmoved, he was more interested in other information. He wanted to know if the news Kakashi told him was true. - Priestess, is it true that you are carrying my child? - he asked, looking into her green eyes.

Sakura was silent for a moment, took a deep breath, and raised her head proudly. — That's right, that's the reason I didn't want to see anyone for the last few days. - Sasuke smiled at these words, but it was not a friendly smile. However, Ino didn't take this news well, her plan was falling apart.

-Stop lying with these words. - she said, lowering her head, if not like this, there was another way to achieve her goal. Sakura looked at her not understanding what the blonde meant by that, she was that jealous. - Pacify her! She's getting on my nerves! - she said angrily, pointing at Sakura. — She probably slept with one of the servants and now she wants to- —

— He doesn't love nor core for either of us. — Sakura interrupted her, looking at her. — Stop dreaming. - Ino's expression became gloomy, especially when Sasuke said nothing, confirming the pink-haired girl's words. — Stop lying to yourself. —

There was silence between them, both women feeling uncomfortable with the situation. Sasuke sighed and looked at them. — I don't care about your arguments, but Sakura stays with the title she has. And I don't want to hear anything more about it! —

They both left the office, Sakura happy that she had managed to stay in her position, and Ino furious that she had failed. - This isn't over yet. - said the blonde, turning in the opposite direction and walking forward.

— Probably not. - Sakura replied and sighed. "Not that I'm going to continue this pointless rivalry..."
