When TK woke up in the morning, he was supposed to see his husband was still asleep. He was sure he wouldn't get used to hearing or thinking that weird any time soon. Carlos was always up before him, but then again everything with Gabriel did wear him out. TK decided that it would be best to let his husband sleep in for at least a few more minutes while he thought of a way to get his mind off of everything. He all of a sudden remembered Carlos mentioned that he wanted to go on a hike before, he just hoped that was still the case. He started searching for good hiking trails near them, and he found one that sounded pretty good. After finding the trail, he started to make breakfast before getting everything ready for their hike the next day.

When TK had originally planned this trip, he didn't know that it would require him to be risen from the dead early in the morning and suddenly hated the idea. When he had complained about this to Carlos he was unhelpfully reminded that it was his idea to go on the hike in the first place. He was also unaware just how painful it would be on his feet. He knew deep down that he shouldn't have complained because it was his idea to do this, but TK never missed an opportunity to complain about something. "It feels like my feet are going to fall off Carlos!" He knew he was being overdramatic, but he also knew it would get him what he wanted. He was right because a few minutes later his soulmate was giving him a piggyback ride. He buried his face in the crook of Carlos's neck and planned a little kiss there.
