Chapter 21: Turn It Off

The Next Day While I Was Sleeping I Had No Desire To Get Up Today Because Of Lastnights Events But No Matter I Had To Go To Work Since Yesterday I Made Time For Artemis I Really Had A Good Time With Her It Meant Alot For Me To Get To Know Her More , As I Opened My Eyes A Little I Heard Artemis Groaning In Pain Downstairs Poor Thing I Shouldn't Have Invited Her To Drink But At Least It Wasn't Anything Strong As I Smell Her Scent Coming Up The Stairs She Then Opened My Door And Said Slowly *Azrael Are You Awake?* I Flipped And Responded While Looking At Her *Yeah You Ok Artemis What's Wrong?* She Then Sat On My Bed And Put My Hand On Her Head And It Felt Hot I Then Sat Up As She Said *I Don't Feel So Good , I Feel Sick* I Sighed And Got Outta Bed Carrying Her Downstairs And Started Making Some Tea For Her To Drink Now I Really Felt Bad For Offering Her Alcohol Way To Go Azrael It's Your Fault Artemis Is Sick Now , As I Added Some Honey And Lemon To Her Tea I Then Gave It To Her And Asked *Are You Hungry Artemis Ill Make You Some Soup If You'd Like* She Nodded Her Head While Drinking The Tea And I Took Out Some Chicken Broth And Started Warming Up The Stove And Cut Up A Few Lemons And Little Bits Of Chicken As I Checked On Her A Few Times To See If She Was Done The Tea , Then She Got Up Slowly And Sat In The Kitchen Watching Me Cook For Her *Thank You For The Tea Azrael Im Glad You're My Friend No One Has Ever Done Anything Like This For Me Before* I Smiled As I Grabbed A Round Bowl And Poured The Soup In It And She Weakly Cleared Her Nose *What  Did You Mean Nobody Did This For You Artemis What About Your Parents?* She Sighed Sickly And Said *Once I Accepted The Witches Gift My Parents Disowned Me And My Little Sister And Threw Us Into The Academy And We Never Saw Them Again They Were Cruel To Me And My Sister And I Never Knew Why Until The Witch Told Me That They Wanted Us Dead And They Didn't Like That We Were More Powerful Then Them Especially Me I Learned So Much At This School And I Was Glad Because I Had People Who Cared About Me And Loved My Sister* I Looked At Her As Tears Went Down My Eyes *That's Horrible Why The Hell Would They Do That To You And You're Sister That's Not How You Treat The Humans You Bring Into This World* She Ate The Soup Slowly And She Nodded Agreeing With Me *Yes I Would Never Forget The Look On There Faces When They Threw Us Out Im Glad My Sister Is Okay Thats All That Matters I Would Love For You To Meet Her* I Giggled As She Says That *I Would Love To It Would Be An Honor* She Then Finishes The Soup And Smiles *You Don't Mind If I Stay Here Azrael? It Would Be Good So You Wouldn't Be Alone Here All The Time And I Can Make My Own Room Underground* I Give Her Some Water And A Pill For The Fever And Nodded *Sure Love But When You Get Better Okay?* She Nods And Lays On The Sofa As I Give Her The Remote So She Could Watch A Little Bit Of Television , I Then Run Back To The Kitchen To Wash The Dirty Dishes As Artemis Watches Her Favorite Show I Really Felt Good About Not Living Alone Anymore It Was Nice And She Respected My Privacy As Well One Of The Many Reasons I Liked Being Her Friend. Meanwhile I Went And Washed My Face Lucky I Could See My Reflection In The Mirror At Least It Wasn't Like In The Vampire Movies With The Dramatic No "Reflection" Thing , As I Dried My Face And Put A Little Bit Of Makeup On I Hear My Phone Downstairs *Artemis Can You See Who's Calling!* She Then Says *Sure Azrael , It's Sabina Should I Answer?* I Sighed And Said *Go Ahead Tell Her Im Busy Doing My Makeup* I Then Hear Artemis Repeat What I Told Her And Artemis Uses Magic To Send My Phone Into The Bathroom *Sorry Azrael But She Said It Was Urgent!* I Then Shake My Head And Started Talking To Sabina *What Is It Sabina?* She Then Replied *Azrael I Wanted To Tell You About My Date And Apologize* I Put Mascara On And Rolled My Eyes *It's Alright Sabina So Tell Me About You're Stunning Date* She Then Gets Excited And Starts Telling Me Everything *Ok Ok So When I Arrived At Her House She Then Came Out Looking Like A 4 Course Meal , And As She Got Into My Car I Couldn't Keep My Hands Off Of Her The Whole Night Literally And I Took Her Out And So On To A Five Star Restaurant And We Talked , Ate And What Not And When We Got Done We Kind Of Hooked Up In The Bathroom For A Few Hours And Now She's My Girlfriend She's One Firey Little Minx* I Giggled While Fixing My Lashes *Damn Girl You Getting A Lot Of Action In Bathrooms Lately* She Chuckles As I Tell Her That And Then Said *So Tell Me About You And Tall Dark And Handsome , Have You Seen Him Lately?* I Sigh *No I Told Him To Leave Me Alone Because Im Tired Of His Lies And Im Really Going To Turn Off My Emotions If He Keeps On Playing* She Sighs *Im Sorry Azrael I Know You Have A Thing For Him But There's No Shame In Moving  On If He Doesn't Act Right* I Then Go To My Room As We Finished Talking And Stayed In There For A Little While Waiting For It To Be The Time To Go To Work.
