I felt faint, my head spinning in confusion and discomfort "how could this have happened?" I thought to myself "I can't remember anything" I whispered. Everything was a blur. I had no recollection of anything from last night. All I could remember was I was somewhere with Marshall and Everest, I feel like someone else was there as well. I felt a warm touch on my chest, which shocked me, I opened my eyes to see I was in a bed, but it wasn't my bed and the room looked slightly familiar. I put my paws up and rubbed my eyes, groaning as my head was sore "did I get drunk last night?" I didn't know anything, so I assumed that was the case nothing else had ever made me feel like this before. I sat on the edge of the bed for a minute waking myself up properly and as I got up, I heard a muffled groan, I was confused "what the?" I thought as I looked over to where the noise had come from "no!" I was shocked at what I saw "it couldn't be, could it?" I looked over at the familiar looking pup who was sleeping on the other side of the bed "Sk-Skye?" I asked confused as anything, she yawned opening her eyes locking in contact with mine "oh, hi Chase" she yawned after rubbing her eyes and looking back at me her mind clicked "CHASE!" I could tell she was just as confused as me. Now my thoughts were really flooding as panic and anxiety kicked in "why is she here?" I was breathing heavily "Why are we sleeping in the same bed?" We weren't even together, or so I thought. I noticed my shirt was on the floor, I didn't even know I had worn one, I turned to Skye who was still lying under the blanket staring at the ceiling in confusion "Where am I?" I asked her, she sat up, her tuff on her head was messy but I liked the look "were in my room Chase" she responded in a tone that sounded like I was supposed to know the answer to that question. I felt uneasy about the situation she seemed to remember everything, but I couldn't, "I-ah-I I have to go somewhere" I stuttered as I left the room in panic thinking to myself "I didn't, do it, did I?" It all felt wrong, I can't go near her, I had messed up big time, "I'm going to have to keep my distance until I can figure out what I've done and make it right" I let the scene sink in a bit more, first I don't remember anything, then I wake up next to her, in HER bed, not wearing a shirt and her paw on my chest as well. "I've really done something bad this time haven't I" I thought, I was just hoping it won't end badly.

Skye

I couldn't understand why he left; he hadn't done anything wrong. I would never make him do anything he was uncomfortable with "This wasn't supposed to happen, Everest said it would work" I thought it would work too, Everest had a bit more experience with sort of stuff which was why I listened to her plan yesterday I thought back to yesterday.

Flashback: "are you sure this will work?" I asked Everest she gave me a serious look "of course it will! "She exclaimed "if you get him a little drunk, he won't be thinking properly, and he will probably confess to you if not you could take him home because he won't be able to drive, and you can spend a night with him" she smirked at me "now come on let's go" she finished"

I sat there on my bed mentally beating myself up trying to think of how I would explain this to chase "I guess he doesn't remember that he asked me to be his yesterday" I decided to go make some food to eat as I was hungry this morning. Nothing would take my mind off Chase; I wasn't sure why he would react like that he's always been in love with me "surely, he would've liked something like this" I thought. I decided I was going to have to talk with Everest to get some help on what to do about the situation. I headed outside and made my way over to where Everest was. When I arrived, I was about to call out to Everest, but I stopped myself, I saw she was talking to another pup, it was a brown and tan German Sheppard as I crept closer, I noticed who it was "Chase? Why is he here with Everest?" I was now intrigued with what could be going on between the two. I overheard the two as I made my way towards them "Thanks for helping me out" I heard chase say, Everest responded "don't thank me, but make sure you tell it to her, or I will do it" she stared at chase but then gave a smile and finished with "ok?" she asked Chase in a bit of a demanding tone "don't worry, I will" he returned before turning away and walking off giving me the opportunity to walk up to Everest, "Everest!, Hi" I called out to her she was a little startled not expecting me to show up "Hey Skye, how are you?" she responded "well I was okay until something happened this morning" I sighed at the last part as it really made me sad thinking about what happened with Chase. Everest invited me inside and we sat down on the couch "so how did it go with Chase?" she asked, I sighed and looked at her "well that's what I need to talk to you about" she looked surprised "well, what happened?" I paused for a moment "he woke up confused and was acting strange then said he had to be somewhere and left in a panic" she took a moment to take it in "well I'm sorry to hear that it didn't work" she did seem concerned about it "you said it would work!" I cried out I was hurt by Chases actions this morning, but I could also understand why he'd done it. Everest sat silent for a while before speaking up "well there is some good news around but unfortunately I cannot tell you it" I was confused what it was supposed to mean "what's that supposed to mean?" I asked, tilting my head to the side in curiosity, Everest didn't look at me but responded with one sentence "only Chase can tell you now".

Chase

Sitting on my bed I thought to myself "what am I supposed to do?" I had made a mistake this morning, I just panicked and didn't think to even let Skye explain or talk to me about anything. I sighed "It could affect everything with her, she's all I've ever wanted, and I blew my opportunity". I decided to go downstairs and get some food as I was hungry, as I approached the kitchen Marshall showed up out of nowhere "Hey Chase, what's going on?" he smiled at me unknowing to what I was dealing with currently "oh nothing much, just getting some food" I responded dipping my head down, that was a bad idea because now Marshall knew something was wrong and he won't give up on trying to find out to help "Chase, you know I can tell somethings wrong?" I sighed "called it, again" I didn't really want to tell Marshall as I had this conversation with Everest already "I messed up Marshall" he nodded his head in sign to tell me to continue "I panicked and lied to Skye before leaving this morning" I sat down and Marshall came over leant on my shoulder "well what are you doing here? Get back out there and go talk to her" he huffed, I let out a sigh and got up, I knew he was right, but I was nervous I had no way of knowing how this would go. I got dressed and went out to find Skye. I made my way over to Everest's place as I had seen Skye there just after I walked off, I felt sick with anxiety in my stomach. Approaching Everest's, I noticed Skye leaving out the front door "Skye!" I called jogging up to her, she seemed happy to see me even after this morning. I stopped in front of her catching my breath quickly before speaking "I'm sorry Skye" I took a couple breaths calming me down "I don't know why I ran out, I wasn't thinking straight" I was about to speak again when Skye interrupted me "no I'm sorry Chase, I should've just done this the normal way and just asked you". I had lost my anxiousness and was feeling a lot more confident about this conversation I decided to just get to my point "Skye?" she looked up at me and smiled "yeah?" I paused for a moment "I don't know why I ran off; I enjoy spending time with you and being around you, it makes me happy" I waited a moment before continuing "I guess what I'm trying to say is, I'm seriously in love with you Skye, I love you more than anything" I held out my paw to her inviting to take it with hers, she smirked, grabbed my paw and pulled me in a kissed me "I love you Chase" It was all I needed to hear to make me the happiest pup.
