Zuhra's point of view.

All four of us climbed down the stairs while Angeza slid down the railing.

I just let her be as embarrassing as she wanted to since she would not stop even if i asked her to.

The table was already filled with our parents and my brother sitting with our pet cat on his lap.

I just chuckled and took a seat beside Angeza, bracing for what was going to come.

Both of Hussain's parents gave me a small smile and i returned one.

"We are planning the dates for the events okay?" My Mother told me.

I nodded my head at her slowly and leaned back on my chair, relaxing.

And that's when it started each everyone of them were speaking to each other in gibberish /to me it is/ .

I just looked at all of them with a blank look with my brows furrowed. it happens. always.

I was never really taught how to speak Urdu, which leaves me being in this situation.

Feeling like an idiot.

My eyes glanced over my Mother who was conversing happily with Hussain's Mother.

I let out a huge breath and sighed, which caught Angeza's attention.

"You okay?" She whispered.

"Absolutely, cause I understand everything everyone is talking about!" I blurt out, sarcasm laced in my voice.

She winced lightly, lifting both her hands in surrender.

"Sorry sorry sorry." She mumbled lightly to me.

She tapped on my mother's arm lightly, seating her that I am confused  out my wit.

"right!" she blurt loudly, getting everyone's attention.

I let my hand fall onto my hands, embarrassed.

"Zuhra does not really speak Urdu, she doesn't understand it either." my Mother said, to literally the whole world.

It was silent for about seven seconds, before Hussain's Father cleared his throat.

He shook his head lightly before speaking.

"I am very well sure, that, that will not be a problem."

He turned to Hussain for awhile before turning back to me.

"Hussain will teach her Urdu, that will not be a problem right Son?" He asked.

"Definitely not." He said, resting his Chin on his palm, a goofy smile plastered on his face, looking at me.

My cheeks felt hot, and I quickly looked away. Not being able to handle his stare.

"Then I don't see a problem here." His Father shrugged.

"Anyways, we have planned the dates for all the functions"

He paused.

" the Mehandi night will be on the twenty-second September. And two days later we can have the Wedding / Nikkah, following with reception the next day. What do you guys say."

Everyone turned to look at me, waiting for my answer.

"Cool." I shrugged.

What else am I supposed to say? No? I could have but everyone's gonna think that I hate everyone which I do but I don't want them to know that. Why am I like this?

"I CANNOT WAIT OH MY GOD!!" Maha screeched jumping up and down.

I just smiled softly at her and watched as everyone got up and leave the dining room.

Leaving me and Hussain behind.

He smiled softly at me and I smiled back but that ended abruptly because Angeza just had to pull me out of my seat forcefully.

I tripped my way back to the room, nervous about my own wedding.
