I sit in the driver seat of my car as I dial the towing company. I had ran over something that made by tire burst out. It's midnight and I'm just now getting off of work.

I was just at a meeting in the next town and was heading back home to get some sleep. The call connected and the gruff voice of a man spoke.

"Hello, this is Dandy Tow, where are you located?"
I tell him the highway I'm on and that I had a flat. I was just going to call for a ride to get my tire fixed and drive it home tomorrow but the guy insisted on coming out here and towing it.

"Don't worry ma'am, I'm near by and can be there in about 15 minutes. I'll see you then."
The phone clicked off and I sigh, leaning back against the seat. I was still in the city but it was mostly just office buildings so there was hardly anyone around.

I decided to get some fresh air and get out of the car. I lean against the hood, the warmth radiating from the engine. My eyes drift close, letting the wind blow against me.
"Hey , need some help."
I startle, opening my eyes. There's a guy standing beside me, hands in his pockets.

"Jesus you scared the living hell out of me. I didn't even here your car pull up."
He gives a little chuckle, "sorry, didn't mean to frighten you. Are you okay , do you need a ride?"

Though having a ride would be nice ,This guy seem too suspicious I didn't even here him pull up behind me. He could be a serial killer. I mean he's dressed like a greaser.
"No I'm fine, I'll find a way to get home it's late."
"Okay then, I'll keep you company while you wait."

This guy was definitely a weirdo. I don't even say anything back as I turn my attention away. He takes the hint and steps away, walking down the road a little ways.
"I'll be over here when the tow truck arrives, yell if you need anything."

I watch him walk down the road, disappearing into the darkness.
10 minutes pass and the tow truck pulls up behind my car. The guy I had talked to is a burly man, his dark hair pulled back into a ponytail. He introduces himself and starts hooking up my car.
