"i hope you have a very good reason for waking me up at 5:30." olive said walking up to vinnie with her arms crossed. it took her about 20 minutes to get everything done. she brushed her teeth, got dressed... that's it actually.
"well now you're making me doubt my reason. it'll be good, cmon." he reassured himself as he led her out the building and to his car.
"where are we going?" olive asked as he opened the passenger-side door for her. this action still made her happy.
"you'll see. we have to get there soon for this to happen though." the boy explained. he closed his door and started the car.

"holy shit, vinnie." the girl gasped as she opened the car door. she had never seen a view quite like this before. he drove 20 minutes or so to a scenic overlook to see the sunrise. he remembered from their date last saturday that olive loved sunrises. so he wanted to experience one with her. "it's beautiful." olive said, so enthralled with the scene.
he opened his door as well to go to where she was standing. her mouth was opened slightly, her face showing how amazed she was. vinnie loved this view. he'd pay to see the most beautiful girl in his eyes look so captivated by the sun rising, the orange glow of the sun glowing against her face. she was a sight of its own.
they both moved to sit down at a park bench that was still facing the sunrise. he wrapped his arm around her and she snuggled into his side, both being slightly chilly because of the morning air.
"thank you, vinnie. for showing me this." she whispered, looking into his eyes sincerely.
he grinned. "of course, olive."
they stayed in a comfortable silence until the sun fully rose.
