II. Team Meetings
BAHRAIN: March 2023
The season was about to officially start. Daniel was sitting in the meeting room with Max beside him. A meeting was happening about the same protocols the two drivers had heard about multiple times already. His face showed utter concentration but, in reality his mind can't help but wander to a certain moment of their season. Something that was bothering him for a while now.
FLASHBACK: SAKHIR: February 2023
Testing for that season was happening and him and Max were walking inside the compound talking about how the break went. There wasn't really anything exciting that was happening except for another start of the season. But then they heard Christian call them.
"Glad to have caught you both." The two turned to their team principal. Christian Horner was smiling but Daniel's attention moved to the brunette woman that was standing beside him. Freckles littered her face, her bright brown eyes staring at them, with a small smile on her lips.
"I would like for you to meet your new PR Manager; Clara." Daniel's smile grew wider at the information. This woman would be working with them. "Nice to meet you." Clara said politely. Her eyes meeting Daniel's.
"Hi."
BAHRAIN: March 2023
From that moment, the newest member of the Red Bull team was with them, that meant she was also there at the meeting. Her attention on whatever Christian was saying.
If Daniel would describe her, it would be; passionate and a workaholic. He did not get to see a side of her that isn't his PR Manager.
"Dude stop staring at Maeve." Max said from beside him. Daniel snickered and turned to his teammate. "I was not and I can never understand why she only lets you call her that." he said. A curious and weird tone in his voice. This made Max chuckle, "That's something you have to ask her."
The Australian couldn't help but frown. He had tried his very best to try and get to know the girl but alas, nothing worked. "I have been trying. She's like behind a wall whenever she's with me." "Sucks to be you." the Dutch joked as he turned to listen to their team principal again.
"That's not funny, Max."
"It kinda is."
