VI. Attention Seeker

SAUDI: March 2023

FP1 and FP2: Clara stood next to Max for post interview sessions, she had left Daniel for a bit with the PR team as she joined Max for this one. She would usually schedule their interviews next to each other so that she can deal with them at the same time. But after what Daniel said at Bahrain, she needed some space away from him.

It wasn't as if she didn't like Daniel. He was a great guy; funny, caring, passionate, but that was also reasons why she was staying away from him.

As she was standing there and listening intently to what Max was saying, she heard someone from her team from the radio. They were asking for back-up as Daniel was being silly with the answers again. Answering the call for help, she assigned the other PR team member to keep an eye on Max before leaving.

Daniel was answering a question when he caught glimpse of his PR Manager walking to where he was. He couldn't help his grin grow wider, his plan had worked.

Clara saw this and narrowed her eyes at him. Clearly, she knew all too well his antics. It was something that entertained but also annoyed her at the same time. It seemed as though, those were the traits that the made her want to stay away from the trouble that he would bring.

"Top of the morning to ya Graham."

"I'm Scottish."

"Oh- HAHAHA"

Daniel felt Clara pat his arm and he smiled at her, clearly he was being a silly goose to have her attention and she knew that. He had been doing this a while and she had gotten used to it.

Before he ended the interview, he winked at Clara and turned to the interviewer. "The fastest you get paid, the fastest you get laid. Peace."

Daniel walked away laughing as Clara shook her head and thanked the interviewer that was the famous and loved Evangeline Mendoza. Although something that Daniel took note of when he turned back to him was the fact that she couldn't help but chuckle and follow him.

He smiled to himself at the sight. He had made her laugh. That was progress.
