AVANI's POV.

It's almost 6.30.. In the evening!! I'm done with my assignments leaning my back to take support from wall after the hectic work!!!

Looks perfect! A small self-appraisal, I tapped my shoulder..soon I heard the honking of car!!and turned around to see through my window !!raindroplets are dripping ...I saw the bunglow with golden lights hanging !!!it's a perfect view and I have the access through my bedrooms window!!

I'm avani , a simple ,old-fashioned,confident girl. whose dream is to study hard and make parents proud!! I'm studying 12th standard in BVB group of educational institutions!! Akash and my brother rudra is doing their bachelor's degree in same institution engineering final year!!

My brother is one of the bestfriend Akash!!they used to hangout during day and used to do night out before their semester exams!!

Though my brother rudra is 5 years older than me...I never used to call him Bhai!! And brother-sister rivals ,Tom and Jerry fights are common in every home...though he likes to annoy me ..he takes utmost care of me , yet he pretends that he never care for me.

He used to say mamma and pappa brought me from the dustbin in the corner of street ...what a jerk and nerd he is!!I just hate that thought and he played same drama routine in front of our parents whenever I disobey him!

Done with my math class in evening I'm leaving to home..soon I heard seniors gang in parkingspace harassing (ragging) the juniors...and they got their eye on me!!!and asked me to do weirdthings...one of senior came to me with scissors in his hand and about cut my long ,braided silky hair...Tears rolled on my cheeks..

I requested them to leave me...they didn't pay any heed to my words..soon tears are dripping from eyes ..soon I felt air blowing from side of my left cheek and I heard punching sound ...

It took me 2 min to digest what I saw!! It's akash who digged his fist into one of gang members face ...facing akash's fist, I'm sure the opponent's face was shaped out..and that turned into big fight .Both akash's gang and other's gang got in bloody rivalry ..and everything calmed when our colleges anti-ragging squad members came and warned them!!

My brother was absent that day as he's is suffering from 103° fever and running nose!!

Akash's fist got wounded and palm got a deep cut!!but still he tried to protect me like a family member ...

After everything settled I asked him to come home for firstaid...while giving few punches his fist got a cut..and blood is visible ...

We both entered my home..My mumma and pappa went to relatives house as their is a family gathering ...Soon rudra came out from his room wearing sweater with his running nose sneezing like grandpa!!

How's ur health rudrra !!--- akash asked

I'm fine. .but first tell me what happened to ur hand asked shockingly!!--- rudra questioned!

After knowing what happened rudra laughed out loud as he's scaring the shit out of me..after the humiliation i faced in the college instead of consoling me he's laughing at me😑.Tired of my brother's annoying actions and i groaned at him to leave the hall..
He left the livinghall soon in a while!

I sat beside Akash in couch and asked him to pass his hand .Not uttering any word ..he gave me his hand and i cleaned the wound with antiseptic and then applied ointment..I wrapped his palm around white cloth ...I looked here and there ..I don't find scissors to cut the cloth ..

Unknowingly I placed his palm on my left knee. ..and bend a little over to grab the scissors which are placed on table beside couch..By seeing his wounded palm on my bare knee..that almost sent me jitters in my legs ..It was the first time I'm holding his rough hands!!
