before the Rain

a bit closer to my scarred soul..

AKASH's POV

With dissatisfaction on my face rudra and I left the home . We went to the store and picked up the equipment for the project. We went to my chamber in our bungalow to complete the project .

My mom already left .she will probably be in avani's home for puja .she already said to me she's going to do fast and she will come back in the evening!!

It's almost 5 in the evening and we completed the project and all goes good for tomorrow's submission...

We are feeling hungry...! We almost forgot to eat due to this work!!!

I asked rudra "tell me what you want to eat ?..I will ask the head chef to prepare food"!

"No need man ...I'm very hungry...your chef will take 30 min to prepare food..I can't handle..let's go to my home ..I think my mom prepared special items for today's Puja..we will go and grab them" he said ...and I nodded .

We went to his house...I heard all the women chanting shlokas and mantras..

We just went straight into the dining hall and on table saw all the special dishes!! We took lemon pulihora started enjoying the food!!

I heard avani's voice and she with her cousin naina started singing !! Her back is facing me..she's facing towards the lakshmi's idol ..

I adjusted my chair a few inches backwards to see her face from the side view...

soon rudra started to fake his cough and said to me "Come we'll go and sit on the couch ...you will get a perfect view to watch!!!"

Don't manipulate me rudra ...You are missing naina's view . That's the reason you are asking me to come...it's not about avani ..!- I exclaimed and he chuckled.

Soon we sat on couch and started to talk ..avani came to us and handed over prasadam(dish that was served to deity)

Rudra took the bowl of prasadam .

Avi came to me ... she's wearing dark red colour saree with bindi and nose pin , her jhumka tangled , her saree's draping is showing the side view of her waist which is perfectly curved. Small waist chain around her waist ..my both hands will perfectly fit in those curves when I will place my hands around her waist...I lost my thoughts and forwarded my hand to take the bowl..

"Don't , don't do that akash"!! She said

What ??- I asked her

Rudra glared at us and avi said "take it with your right hand ..it's lakshmi maa's prasadam"!!

I took prasadam with my right hand.she turned her gaze from me and walked ...her opened hair which is long is touching her butt.

God!! She's driving me crazy ..

rudra took my fingers and saw the mehandi stain on my fingers and chuckled!!

I tried harder to hide it from him..but he saw ...he's starring at me for 2-3 min...he needs answer...i understood.

"My mom asked me to apply mehandi on avani's palm..it just happened like that..don't overthink ." - I said.

He continued saying this words and I gave him a angry stare and asked him to be quiet!!

Soon naina and avani started to perform bharatanatyam...

She's stood in tribanga posture by expressing her feelings with her eyes and they both circled the rounds continuously and danced ..I just lost in her eyes which were showing all 9 emotions of hasya,rudra,karuna,Veera,bhayanaka, beebatsa, adbuta,Shanta and shringara..
