"what the fuck do you think you're doing?"
I turned around and saw a girl looking as mad as ever.
"go away !"
I shouted back at her and looked down again.
"don't do it!"
"why the fuck not?"
I was getting frustrated at her. I only wanted to end it quickly but then she comes along.
"won't you miss living? won't you miss how it feels when the sun kisses your skin? won't you miss the things that can make the world seem bearable?"
the moment she said that, I remembered her smile and the way she tells her poems to me. it made the world bearable.
"well it's gone now"
"just don't do it"
"no"
I loosened my grip on the railing.
"wait wait just listen for a second"
I looked back at her and raised my eyebrows.
"There's so much more than this, dude. it's not worth it. I know there's still some great things waiting for you. It may not seem like it but there will be"
"bullshit"
"I swear to god if you jump, I jump too"
"no"
she smirked and joined me on the other side of the railing.
"what the hell are you doing?"
"Isn't it obvious? I'm gunna jump too"
"but why"
"because I want to disappear too"
she removed one of her hands on the railing and looked at me
"goodbye, dude. nice meeting you though"
as anxiety ate me away, I immediately returned on the other side and pulled her. she fell on me and we stayed like that for a few seconds until she stood up and reached down for my hand.
"don't do that again, okay?"
she chuckled and pulled me up
"same to you, dude"
"stop calling me dude"
"well how can I? I don't know your name"
"um I'm calum"
"cool name I'm nina"
