I made my way into the school building taking a deep breath remembering I had to tutor Megan until she stops acting like she's slow and get on top of her shit. I went to the principals office and sat down waiting for Megan to come in.
"You here already god dang Beyoncé" mr.Keri said dramatically.
"Well would you like me to come late" I snapped back
"No Beyoncé" he chuckled. "Megan should be here soon, please try your best with her I know she can be a piece of work." he sighed
"Trust me your student knows who she's dealing with"
We both heard the door open and turned our heads.
Megan walked in looking different, something was wrong. But whatever that's not my business.
"Good morning Pete come have a seat" "Good morning Keri" Megan said with her raspy voice.
"This is Beyoncé the one who will be tutoring you as I'm sure you've heard the news yesterday, Megan please try that's all I ask.
She turned her head to look me up and down. I noticed it was more than once maybe she likes what she see but I'm not feeding into that.
"Hi Megan" I waved
"Hi" she responded
This already isn't going to go well.
"I've changed your schedule to go along with Megan's so you'll be together all day" Mr.Keri chimed in when he seen the silence was taking over.
"Keri why you want us together all day" Megan said with an attitude
"To make sure you're paying attention megan" he tilted his head
"How you know this not going to throw her off" Megan questioned
"I'm going to be okay I'm well secured in my life." I chimed in.
"Megan bye go to class both of y'all"
We both got up and walked out the door.
"So what's your first class" I scratched my head
"Just follow me , please don't overstep or try to tell me what to do."
"Megan I'm not here to be your punching bag bro I'm not. I'm here cause Keri wanted me to. I don't fucking have to. Don't treat me like that you did this to yourself. Now Megan what the hell is the first class"
